Holy shit, please tell me you're not kidding! In a dell forum a guy said that this kind of update was not possible. This stopped me from updating the cpu for 5 years for fear of a mistake. Do you think an i7 3770t could work in the inspiron 2020?

@@joelescudero1415 As long as the CPU you want to toss in is supported by the BIOS running on the mainboard you should be fine. But since it is a Dell custom BIOS, support could be limited to the CPUs originally fitted in those systems, so your best bet would be to go with the highest end chip that was avaiable with the system when it was still sold. You can try different ones but there is no guaranty it will work.

you cant do much. the cooler on the product was only meant for what the company put in it and not for your upgrade but it should be fine. normally even though the cooler is not good as it is suppose to the computer will protect itself by using thermal throttling

when you talk about the GPU do you mean APU. AMD made CPU with graphic cards inside of them, the others that dont mention this also have one but a crap one.

i7 2600s. i cant tell you if the original heatsink will be ok or not. if you look at all the CPUs that came with your model that will give you an idea on what is ok. example if you look at your computer you will see if came with a i3, i5 and i7 therefore it is ok to use thiose

you can get an A8 but then that wont do much since the computer you are using is too old. it is better off to sell that and buy a desktop

this is not apple. as long it fits in it should work. you just need to switch the CPU over and it will work. no setting or changes to anything else required

yes you can change the g620 which uses the LGA1155 socket. therefore, anything that fit on that socket you can use so the highest thing you can get is an i7 3700. you will be better off selling this and buying a new desktop. if you dont have the money then save up for it as upgrading is useless.

you need to tell me what AIO you have. Basically all AIO you can change the RAM but not the graphic card because it doesn't have one or it is soldered on

depends on what you buy. the newer HP AIO are laptop CPU, they used to use desktop CPU but most of the brands are now moving towards laptop CPU in the newer AIO. at one stage basically everyone used desktop CPU combine with laptop GPU in there AIO. the best way to find out is to do a quick search for the CPU and it will tell you if it is a laptop or desktop CPU

I have 3 of these an i7 4790, i5 4670 and a G3240. I didn't actually change the CPU I was about to but then realize it was pointless. the one use for this example was G3240 and was about to replace it with a G3220 but they basically the same.

yes it is. you have a desktop cpu that uses lga1150 socket according to the intel site so you can replace it with anything that uses lga1150. just google lga1150 cpu and you will get a list of them

your CPU socket is LGA 1155 so go google LGA 1155 CPU list and thats everything that will work with it. the max ram you can use is how many slots you have, you have 2 slots and ddr3 comes in 8GB max for each stick therefore you can get 16GB
