The other two were pretty obvious upscaling and structure/articulation upgrades of the originals, but this is the biggest improvement by far. Going from the least impressive of the three to the most impressive. I didn't even notice the original had a tail until I saw the thumbnail for this video! I do have a pacing suggestion for building robots in the future that might help engagement a little. The head is often the last part to be revealed in a combining robot in animation for a reason: The face is where humans form most of their emotional connection. So it might be better to show the clips going in order of torso, then legs, then arms, and then only show building the head before large weapons or the tail if _those_ are particularly impressive (as I would suggest showing the head before the tail on this one, but still building the head after the weapons and shield on the previous two). Likewise legs are generally less interesting to look at than arms, serving more of a practical structural purpose and less expression and perform fewer actions. Thus I'd recommend showing the legs built before the arms, rather than arms first and legs afterward, possibly even attaching the legs to the torso before showing the footage of the arms being built. I loved all three of these robots and look forward to seeing more from you in the future.
I really loved to watch all 3 childhood robot upgrades, it must have been a cool nostalgic experience to re-do these. In this particular model I loved the idea to use the motor piece for the head, it looked really awesome and I never thought it could work out in such places! Also the leg design (especially the lower portions) have also turned out great, as well as the rest too. Thanks for sharing all these videos, much appreciated and looking forward for your next ideas! :)
I envy you for being able to play with Lego from a young age. I only started playing with Lego after I worked, but my kids have been playing with Lego since they were 3 years old. And really like your MOC work!

the mech overall is great and has nice detailed design but for my taste the arms are to think compared to the legs. Also if you compare to your sons mech he made the arms and legs kind of equal thick.
