Upgrading my PARASOL FIGHTER to WW2 spec in Flyout!

I love early war designes. I have made PZL. 11 with gull wing. Also i was writing this comment when You mentioned Polish fighters. For me those were SUCH Good looking planes

Might have been worth looking at the Fairey Barracuda's undercarriage for the gear trouble. Has a high-wing design and the undercarriage folds in on itself in order to recede into the fuselage and the wing, while providing enough track to be a good carrier aircraft.

Ti counteract the propeller generating torque and turning the whole plane, you can make a wing longer than the other, like the Italians did

I like how this design is a mix of early war Dewotine and PZL aircrafts! It looks so elegant

Design reminds me of a Yugoslav made Ikarus IK-2 :)

I feel like that could have benefited a lot from a new-fangled (for the era) 'tricycle' wheel layout. A single small nose-wheel up front and two just a little behind the centre of mass.

That whole save being deleted could have been avoided if you put it in #aircraft-repository in your Discord!

i made a fighter called P-190 light fighter and its a delta winged aircraft armed with two 50.cal machineguns and two 20mm aotu cannon.

Loved the re-design! As for the gear, an arrangement similar to the Wildcat but backwards-facing, probably into a slight bulge, would more than likely work out ok.

I’ve got a few ideas for you… 1) inter-war evolution of Albatros D.V to mid fuselage mono wing w/tail assembly and wing trailing edges scalloped like original w/ retractable gear. 2) radial powered He-112.

This gives me french inverted Ju87 vibes

9:38 Maybe try a radial engine and Grumman style gear that tucks into the nose behind the engine? Although at this point you have more of an odd P.11/F4F hybrid rather than a plausible upgrade of the original airframe. Other option I can think of would be to try adding some form of blister fairing for the wheels to retract into, kind of like the Curtiss P40 had, but on the fuselage sides rather than on the wings.

I see this as a mid-'30s missing link between the Hawker Demon and Hurricane; I think the Demon even had that "Russian" radiator.

The struggles of taking off in Flyout at the moment are real XD

fly out idea: create a stationary plane like the ones so many of us made as kids with a pen and a ruler. it could shoot missiles out of were the pen tip would be and it could be a challenge to get to fly properly

I would reccomend using the keyboard controls on takeoff, as the mouse controls don’t know to use the rudder instead of ailerons on the ground.

To me this looks like a PZL p.11c with a merlin engine. EDIT: Is that why you posted the COBI p.11c on your community page?

I also had a lot of issues taking off with piston planes recently, wasn't that bad before

dont fight with it just go along the flow (thats about taking off from runway going with the flow works basically best i tested)

Since we're already evolving it more than reasonable, now the next logical step is making a jet fighter with parasol wings😅 Maybe with sweeping parasol wings🤔

8:15 so there are some solutions to this problem. I'm willing to bet that what you're dealing with here is tip stall, which you can fix in a jiffy with what's called washout. you can impliment that on any plane in flyout with the tip twist slider. just twist those wingtips towards the ground until it stops being a problem. alternatively you can employ a simple technique for taking off with tail draggers that suffer with this problem. the problem is a matter of angle of attack over the whole of the wing that becomes a significant problem at the wingtips when a rolling action is involved. just imagine the AOA of that wingtip at low speeds when the plane rolls. yeah that's an almost instant stall. so here's how you take off with this plane. PITCH DOWN. as you gain speed the tail will lift up and the plane will level out. keep her level for a little longer and take advantage of those front wheels to keep yourself upright while gaining speed. Once you've got plenty of speed gently lift the plane into the air.
