Hey Ben, love the vids!! One tip though for editing - try and equalize the audio. Some of your audio clips, especially the ones of you talking, are way quieter than the music. Keep them coming!

Oh can’t wait to see you do a gravel adventure! The white bottle cage looks amazing with that logo. I love riding gravel where I feel tan walls are super popular but I’m just not a fan. To each their own I guess. 😂

Ben, the Bontrager Girona tires are fantastic. I been riding them for about a month now. they are super supple at 220 tpi and run stupid fast on the road and are very grippy on the gravel. I am presently running the 42's when I am mostly gravel and the 35's when I am running more road than gravel on a second wheelset. Great tire. Good luck on your trip. I also used the Pirelli Gravel H they are also great tires. While I like the tan wall on some tires, I like you, tend to stay with the black wall tire.

On that color bike the black wall tires look good. I normally prefer tan wall. Pirelli cinturado H tires are my go to. They’re fast and very grippy. With carbon bits, a torque wrench is essential! Nice looking bike!

would love to line up tyre logos with wheels but on GP5000s they aren't the same on both sides so, if you line one side up, the other side is out

Agree re tan wall. Ran them for a while but didn’t like them, didn’t look right on the bike with the paint job it’s got and they get dirty so fast. So switched to a Maxxis Reaver ( black wall ) in a 45mm ( nearly 48mm on the rim ) fantastic tyre and rolls very fast for a gravel tyre. Great looking bike by the way 👍

As usual bro, great video.. Ya am done with a tan wall.. plus from what my bike mechanic told me isn't that good with two layers or something Now on the Maxxis High Road, super comfy and feels faster than my Goodyear F1

Personally, wall color depends on bike color. Love a good tan wall but my bike just looks better with black. Enjoy the trip, dude!

There's no way I'm going to give you fashion advice Ben, so what ever sidewall you choose is fine with me. You probably should learn how to use a torque wrench though, especially on a gravel bike: you have most of the skills sorted already so it's only going to be a small step. Enjoy your trip, go fast and have fun, and we'll look forward to your video.

love the setup! just got a Boone myself and looking to change out the tires as well. how did you find that the clearance of the 40s was throughout your trip? would you have still felt confident on the terrain on 35s or 38s?
