The Roland JC-40 is a popular guitar amplifier known for its clean, warm sound. It is often used for jazz, blues, and country music.
I found I have an issue with speaker breakup, there still is speaker break up with the lorantz but it's at might higher levels and the breakup is alot nicer, all the breakup you hear is from the speakers not from clipping, this was extremely loud, it's hard to get across how loud these was, I also think there is some kind of breakup with the actual amp itself when pushed even when set to clean, I'll have to plug in much bigger speakers and test that out.
I also noticed it had less of the speaker breakup when using my boss gt 100, probably because the eq is better, the jc40 is too transparent and let's way too much bass though for guitar, this would be contributing to the speakers breaking up
I purchased the Lorantz 10-Inch Ceramic 75W speakers because I thought is a good choice for replacing the stock speakers in the Roland JC-40. They are said to provide a more powerful and punchy sound than the stock speakers.
If you are considering upgrading the speakers in your Roland JC-40, I recommend doing some research to see what other people have to say about the sound of the Lorantz 10-Inch Ceramic 75W speakers.
Ultimately, the best way to know how the Lorantz speakers will sound in your Roland JC-40 is to try them out for yourself.
