The m4 is a perfect gun to be blessed as a lefty. Actuation of the bolt release is a breeze. Where righties have to use the two finger technique, I can easily close it with my support hand thumb. Makes it sooo much easier. Not that its "hard", but easier is easier.
I just added a Carlson breacher choke, GGG singlepoint sling plate and Mlok handguard. It already came with the collapsible stock. I just had to install it. I love these shotguns.
One of my favorites, definitely one I'd recommend to anyone. I actually found a pistol micro red dot the best, a little faster target acquisition for me. Cheers!
That M4 is a nice bit of Kit! Allot of whitetail (and turkey) have been taken with magnified optics on shotguns. The ACOG is a pricey way to go, but ...hey why not? Again, though: KSG needs a foregrip! I won't run mine without one. I recommend using one with two screws. More secure mounting less prone to failure.
Nice that they dropped this video in my feed. I just upgraded a few things on my Pannzer. TODAY. And ironically enough, I just received put on and then removed that exact same RX arms Bolt release tab. It made it so that my MLok handgaurd would no longer seat properly in the grooves on the receiver. and loose. Actually calls the hangover.2 slip down just loading firing and dejecting training rounds.I can only imagine what would have happened if I would have taken it to the range and shot live ammunition. Do let us know how that works out with that bolt release attached.
If you want to put a full length magazine tube on your M-4, instead of the mag tube extension. Freedom Fighter Tactical has mag tubes in both high grade steel or titanium. Other parts are available too. Freedom Fighter Tactical makes all the parts needed for the 922R legal requirements comply with American legal restrictions.
Myself personally I’d rather have an MLok fore grip and only have rails exactly where needed, save a ton of weight, and pic rails + 12g = cheese grater lol
You definitely have a lot of good upgrades. Only one additional item would be good to add. A shell carrier from Asgard Defense to put on the right side of the fore arm's piccatinny rail. Holds two shells in line with the ejection port. All you have to do is grab one shell and slide the shell straight back into the ejection port for a quick tactical load. Watch the John Wick movies to see how it works. John Wick #2 & #3 movies has scenes where Keanu Reeves uses a single shell holder to shoot one last assassin. The Asgard Defense carrier can hold two shells for those possible "oh crap" situations.
Question...How did you add the Muzzle Brake? Was the barrel on this version already threaded? My M4/1014 does not have a threaded barrel to swap chokes. Thank you.
So far so good. Mine has a lot more through it than that and hasn't failed. I do have an aftermarket enlarged one in it though. Forgot to mention that in the video.
Just picked up a benelli M4. Trying to get a pistol grip or adjustable stock for it. In Washington you can’t sell tactical shotguns with a pistol grip.
With the B&T hand guard, is there a small gap between the barrel ring and the receiver? There’s a tiny gap on mine and though I haven’t shot it yet after installing.. it’s a bit concerning since with the OEM hand guard, the barrel ring sits flush against the receiver.
Benelli M4 is simply the best home defense weapon available IMO..all these accessories like red dots and quad rails are useless and take away from the ergonomics of the broomstick ...a flashlight, iron sights and an upgraded bolt handle that’s how I roll
I don't think it needs anything other than the 7rd mag tube. It's a shotgun. In the home, at night, aiming by ear is good enough... well... maybe mount a flashlight on it.
@@yurikfarba7169 a red dot with the “circle of death” is a must have, especially for close range defense. Patterning your loads and knowing all your pellets will be in that circle ⭕️ could save a life of an innocent, in a hostage situation or behind the target.
@@michaellabus6447 hostage situation? Lol def not trusting the “circle of death” and 12ga 00 buck shells under duress to be surgically precise. To each their own but iim better with the Benelli iron sights… AR at the range or a hunting rifle get optics but my under the bed boomstick has to be dependable
That's a tough one. I am going to do an accuracy video on both soon. I really, really like the apc308, but the xcrm has better ergs/controls imo, and has the ability for calibre conversions, so I am going to stick with it for now.
The M4 is already not a lightweight shotgun. Upgrading it with all that makes it a really heavy beast. So it's then only good for putting it into a bag, driving to the range and impress the other tacticool guys there.
I want your budget lol a trijicon acog on a shotgun I know its a bad ass benelli but still a 1000 dollar magnified optic on a shotgun is like a marine using a presidential rolex too keep time in combat
Does it still function with all those bells and whistles on it? I but the mesa tactical shell carrier on M-2's and it no longer functioned with light loads. The added weight changed the inertia.
Hey, love ur content. I am thinking of buying this shotgun in Canada, do these shotguns also have to be less than 5 rounds in ammo capacity to become non- restricted? Or only for rifles magazines?
How much did that all cost, gun and all? You should get a tactical light, it's non lethal, a very bright strobe that makes one look away. Then do what you want to a blinded intruder
