The money pit is inside the blacksmith hut, Jared! You can also probably go to the place where you got the bigger wallet to get money, if you don't want to fight for it.

In Jared's defense the description does sound really sarcastic on the Mystique Shield. Must be a language barrier thing from the devs.

The Razor Sword has been my favorite weapon in this franchise since I first saw its illustration in Nintendo Power as a kid, so I'm glad this mod included a variation of it. Even more glad that it doesn't revert to your previous sword after 100 swings. XD

Glad your contining this series. I finished it yesterday after watching your first video. Hope you finish it. There are a lot of fun secrets and Easter eggs you have yet to find.

Really enjoying this series and the FFT on my off time. A fresh twist on nostalgia is a great way to close out what has been for me a pretty horrible summer this year.

I don't think Hatch's Sword was two-handed since the merchant also had Hatches shield.

It's been a few episodes since I first noticed, but I feel the need to point out that even though the mini-map of the main corridor is almost certainly meant to look like a sword it looks more like a syringe instead. XD

I've mentioned it on stream but I don't think you saw it at the time, but a very common cause for the issues you're experiencing is having too many devices connected, and something people often fail to realize is that keyboards, mice, hard drives and optical drives all count towards this. Another common cause can be one (or more) USB devices that have broken, but not enough to no longer be usable, as a quick example, back before my retirement I got a customer who complained that their PC was slow, I brought it in for repairs only to find the PC had no issues so all I did was general cleaning and stability testing, returned it and let them know that in my possession it hadn't been slow. About 2 hours later they returned once again saying it's slow, I hooked it up, showed them that there was no issues, they went home and then day after told me to come to them, and in their home, it was indeed very slow, I decided to bring everything with me and did extensive testing, then when I hooked up their USB keyboard to my testing rig, suddenly the optical drive of my testing rig kept ejecting and inserting itself over and over, told them the problem was their keyboard, offered to sell them a used one for cheap as I knew they were a family struggling, but they said they would buy a new one. ... a week later they hadn't replaced the keyboard and were telling people that I hadn't fixed their computer /sigh

Something that will help, you have the goron/zora tunic, that allows you to stand on lava like in king don's room without taking damage for a decent amount of time.

I've been on the plays channel since it's inception. And stand to my point that this mod feels like demon souls from the beginning and the asylum demon only made it more obvious to me.

Dunno if it still works in this mod, but the forward-thrust with a two-handed sword USUALLY gets through defenses like shields in the base game. Give it a try, Jared!

Loving the mix of this and the FTT series. Hope to see you finish both.

due to the characters and story it's more roguelite than roguelike and those often can be harder as while the lites do have mechanikes of likes but often a lesser setback than permadeath and due to upggrades many enemies can be stronger but i love both the main and subenre(hope many agree that roguelite is a subgenre of roguelikes :)

mystique shield cant be broken by any means and cant be stolen by like likes and it blocks magical attacks also if you want to get rid of the map go to rest stellar chamber and hand it in to the kokiri there and hell give you an item to hand to tingle to get the rainbow tunic

I don't understand the issue with Bombchu's. It's a second source for bombs, the thing that stopped him from getting that 25th piece of soul the first time. Plus it makes destroying the laser eyes things easier since you can get them from more of a distance as long as you Z-target. No risk of getting within their range.

Didn't you say there was something in the water in the hub? I thought in an earlier episode you said there was a hole in the wall or something down at the bottom but you couldn't get to it because you did not have the heavy boot

I'll admit, the description of the Mystic Shield sounds a little bit sus, but why would they dev make a unique shield design and give it a higher price if it wasn't an upgrade? It's obviously a shield that like-likes can't eat. Probably using the same code as the Mirror Shield.
