Im really trying to get into video editing so happy i found this channel. I did a video and was about to upload it but the video resolution got dropped by a billion
Hi Maliek. Thank you for your video. What resolution would you recommend for one's videos? I've been uploading at a lower level for quite some time but I think I should be uploading them at a higher resolution. I noticed on your video for example, you have a variety of choices when I click on the gear button. 144p at the lower end all the way to 2160p at the highest end. You must have "handbraked" your initial uploads to compress the video, is that correct? Thank you for your answers. Rob
I find your videos very helpfull and a good resource for learning features of cyber director. So thanks for sharing. I have a question though. How come every time i upload a vid, i have to give power director access again? I heard you say you only should have to do that the first time...
This feature stopped functioning for me in PD16 years ago. Just tested it again and still get Access Blocked error msg. I am glad to learn they apparently brought it back in the newer version(s).
Hello As a regular observer your guides I see that there is a translation in many languages, I should check why there is no translation into the Hebrew language among them And if there are already many languages, it just added another, ask for a language from RU-vid or Google and they will do it, thanks
YT selects a resulution for playback based on the speed of the connection. If it detects a slower connection it drops the resolution of the video but you can manually over-ride that by clicking on the settings (gear icon) on the video and selecting the resulution you want to play. Sometimes YT can be VERY slow at generating HD or 4K but it does get there eventually.
Say i have a long bit of footage and i want to save multiple clips from it. How do i save these small sections? Im currently splitting the parts i want deleting what i don't need then exporting, but having to reopen the footage and audio to create my next clip. Is there an easier way??
Is this any quicker than just generating the video to disk and then manually uploading or it is about the same ? I have been uploading manually so far.
I upload my videos *AFTER* final edit, they're saved to a folder labelled "Pending Upload To RU-vid. From there I upload using RU-vid's upload facility.
@@top40researcher31 You must have a fast-acting computer or a high upload speed, or something. It takes me about 30-to-40 minutes for the upload and another 15-to-25 minutes for the processing.
Authorization Error Error 400: invalid_request? I'm stuck on stupid "You can't sign in to this app because it doesn't comply with Google's OAuth 2.0 policy for keeping apps secure"
I quit uploading thru power director because I have to go thru the whole sign in process every time and a lot of times have errors that prevents the upload so I edit with power director and save the edited version to my computer the upload it from my computer to RU-vid
I typically export to disk and manually upload my videos to my channel. I think the feature to do so from PD is nice and all, but my videos almost always are associated with playlists for videos that belong to a series of some sort. So regardless, I would have to go into Content Mgr on YT to update it if using PD. What would be great is if at some point PD added the capabilities to link your YT account to PD and allowed you to fill in or select all the same options you would get as if you were doing a manual upload on YT.
One other thing I forgot, since RU-vid isnt the best at picking a key frame to use as a thumbnail, I typically save a snapshot of a key frame I want to use to represent my video then upload that snapshot when uploading my videos to RU-vid, that way my video thumbnail representation is exactly what I want it to be.
could you confirm that this works in PowerDirector 21? I get a popup asking me to log in to my youtube and grant permission... but nothing happens when I click the sign in button.
Hi I had a serious issue with a power outage and lost my power director 16 on sunday. I have used it since 2018, well, 2015 if you count powerdirector 11, but I can't use it anymore. The folder is still there, but I can't figure out how to install it, or how it can be fixed. I also have a Powerdirector 17, which I don't really use, but the files can be accessed there too. When I open the current file I was working on though, there is no audio. The files are gone. The original audio (lyrics) was saved on my main drive where all the raw video is, so that's fine, but in the music video, all the audio was edited with audio director 8. When I bring in a raw audio clip to edit in Audio director 8, which is still there, it says, "An error occurred while opening this file in the medias library." etc. Can you please help.
Power director keeps saying no youtube app installed and play store isn't showing any youtube apps but youtube kids youtube studios and youtube music. Has anyone else had this issue?
Hey, malik, I hate to tell you this, but you got some housekeeping to do another word. There's a bunch old videos that no longer work here. You're power direct video segments. Get rid of them. They're a pain in the butt. And improve your dad jokes
