All bands are influenced by other bands and at times you'll hear that influence within a certain track. It's no bad thing at all, and why is it going to make them feel bad? They'd probably be happy to be compared to a band they've looked up to and were influenced by. Yes UABB are unique, nobody is saying they're a carbon copy, but you can definitely hear a similar vibe to Slipknot in this track in particular. Virtually every alternative band around from my youth were influenced by stuff like Black Sabbath, Zeppelin, Deep Purple, through to The pixies and Pink Floyd, etc. "My generation" grew up with Pantera, Metallica, Nirvana, Offspring, Guns n Roses, The Cure etc. You can often hear influences in their music from the older bands. Now bands have almost 40 years of just rock/metal/punk which have helped shape them, as well as anything else which may have inspired them, and people will always make comparisons, it's what humans do. Now if someone had said they could hear the influence of Miley Cyrus in an alternative track I'd be locking myself away in an underground bunker and not coming back out! That would be offensive!
