Close. More like a viola. Typical Swedish tuning for the modern chromatic nyckelharpa is CGCA (lowest string to highest) but it's becoming more common to raise the second string from C to D so it's the same as viola or cello, a handy tuning if you already play an instrument tuned in 5ths. I play mandolin so it was easier for me to tune it this way.

A bit late with this answer, but Torbjörn started on fiddle when he was quite young. This tune is by Pär, and it won a tune competition in Tierp.
