A secret project I’ve been working on for the past 2.5 years is finally here! After many years since the creation of my first short animated film “Noose” (2016), many people had expressed a lot of love and interest in the music of the film, particularly the small end credits song my composers (Stephen Spies & Kate Bacich) and I created together with singer/songwriter Amy Ahn. Since that original short film and demo song dropped, we’ve all graduated from UCLA and started new endeavors -one of them being Stephen and Kate starting a band together with their friends called Hello Noon.
UPSTREAM is the fully developed version of that demo song we shared all those years ago, created in collaboration with Hello Noon and Amy Ahn. UPSTREAM is also, a fully animated short film music video, featuring the characters and world from “Noose” once again.
