For anyone who needs this: (A) Upthrust and Archimedes principles: 0:54 (B) Relative density and its measurement by Archimedes principle: 22:30 (C) Flotation: 34:35
In the book, it is written dead sea can be swimmed in very easily, but instead it wont, floating may be easy but swimming is not. With an increase in density, it is harder to swim. Think of it like this, it is easier to swim in a swimming pool full of water than swimming on the floor. Why? Because the density of the floor is more than the liquid water. Those thinking that one is solid and one is liquid. Remember a solid or liquid can only be differentiated by their density since it correlates with the compactness of the particles and how close they are binded. Thanks for reading.
sir please explain in detail. you are missing the small main points like examples which prove that the following factor or topic is right. and also in 14:03 you have not explained the mathematical proof of upthrust is equal to the eight displaced liquid.
In reason for upthrust if f1 and f2 are equal then will the netforce be zero no force because each will cancel them only pressure from p2 will be the cause
I think both will be equal on an average Because generally gravity acting on a body is equal to its weight and so does upthrust and they are opposite in direction to each other maybe that's why we can walk
Sirr I want to ask ,as you have told us that is the surface area or volume is more than the particular object wont float it will obv sink right? But what if we create a thin sheet or plate or iron and place it in water (weight = 10g) then will the iron plate will sink or not??
yes since the volume of iron is more it does not matter wether the weight of the body is greater than the liquid or not what matters is the buoyant force or upthrust applied which will be more than the weight in any case if the volume is large
the video was very good but the explanation was not much detailed, you just summarised the chapter, some reasonings were also not discussed .... the main criteria i.e. numericals were also not discussed besides you also left some of the portion like examples and reasons , one could not understand these concepts w/o any examples and reasons. thankyou! these were my regards to the video the video was good although.❤
