This comment is way funnier when you actually tap the 0:10 maker and watch the guy stroll in like he was farming with all his buffs and event bonuses GLOWING
I love to see how some dads and moms teach their kids to appreciate by giving tips, they look confused but at the same time totally captivated by a sound made by a really good musician. Lovely.
If I could I would give this guy a solid $20 for that performance. So many people passed by without taking notice of how amazing that was. I'm not musician, but that was an incredible performance. More power to this guy.
Loved your music. Thank you. I am 68 and just starting to play the Sax. I have a Yamaha 62. I chose the Sax because I was told it was a sexy instrument and at my age I need all the help I can get. !
I didn't make it about race, YOU DID. I said that cos he literally was my most favourite black person(at the time). is calling him black racist? you are the one making issues out of nothing and literally causing problems.
you ruined my fucking awesome day I was having. and despite being wrong, negative inconsiderate and an overall downer you are still insulting me instead of probably apologising. un fucking believable. I suggest you clear your mind of all your racist racial thoughts, and that deep hatred you have for everyone and probably stop being so negative. I never even thought of the things you mentioned until you talked about them. Stop corrupting people especially little children. and now kindly fuck off we are more than done
Wegee Meme i wasn't inspired by this vid or anything... But i started playing it like 4.5 years ago and am currently practicing "carnival of venice" by hemke, its really challenging but also really fun to play
Such a great use of fills in the middle instead of long note holds, also clear as hell growling is a win in any book Great control in that and the slow bebop was a great accessory Maurice Curtis 👍👍👍
@I am a hedgehog i mean im not saying that this guy was bad, but its not like this is that hard of a song to play lmao, the lead player for the tonight show does just fine
@The Jamie I'd rather do just about anything with my time than waste it on making a video which will be ridiculed by some gremlin in his grandma's basement :)
@I'm Jamie your the one talking shit here. I dont have anything to prove to you man, im pretty sure even you could pick up a simple pop song on a saxophone if you could play half decent. chill the fuck out
@@benthorne3156 you are obviously insecure. If I was asked to do this, I would’ve done, just that I don’t own a saxophone nor do I know how to use one. 🤷🏻♂️
Those two kids who walked away then ran back, as though on impulse, make me happy. Like... Kid 1: He plays so frickin good Kid 2: I know right, should we...? Kid 1: Nah bro, dad told us not to go up to strangers Kid 2: You're right... [As they walk, Kid 1 takes out his money, as though knowing such a brilliant work should be rewarded but unwilling to break their 'rules'] [Seeing the money in Kid 1's hands] Kid 2: Bro? Kid 1: Aw, heck it. RUN FOR IT BRO BEFORE DAD SEES US Kid 2: I'M BEHIND YOU [runs back to reward a brilliant piece of music, dumps money then runs away] [catches up to parents] Kid 1 and 2: [whispers] Successsss I'm sorry for my imagination. I know it's probably not how the scene went but just let me have this moment ^^ EDIT: Thank you to all those who liked. Have a lovely day :) And let's also tip a hat to those two kids who don't even know they're internet famous but who will, hopefully, stumble upon this video one day and find this surprise waiting for them, hahah. P.s. Maurice Curtis, your playing is as great as ever!
And yes, I can see that they're following their parents actually and their dad probably wouldn't mind. They were probably running to catch up to their parents. But shhh, this scene is more adorable to me :)
Lexie Carbat As the dude playing in this video...those are my exact thoughts when I see kids do this. My kids are the same way...lol. Thank you for your imagination.
Excellent talent. I always feel bad for the people who just walk by without taking at least a moment to enjoy. And no, they don't all have "somewhere to be."
Whether it is recognized by the "dislikers" or not, brother man can plays a flawless rendition with accuracy, smooth transitions, and hard high melodic notes balanced with copious amounts of accuracy and soulful sophistication. This is beyond playing for the bread and butter, this is a "playing for the love of it" concert on concrete, that is worth 1,000 times more than the street change thrown in the appreciation jar.
I love that he is able to play the song my memory! he also has a very good sound on the instrument! I play the saxophone in my school band and the school marching band. I played a saxophone solo by memory for a school concert and at other performances
There will never be anything cooler than a really good sax player just showing off all of their talent in public, not even worrying about who's watching
It is a fake chinese knockoff of a selmer reference 54, Selmer doesn't have a black version of the 54, it definitely is not later either, selmer doesn't use nickel plating of any kind, a disgrace such a good player using a cheap piece of shit knockoff, there is know way he didn't know it was fake, such an obvious fake
Bruh it’s called up town funk, FUNK, you noobs don’t under stand music, jazz and funk are similar but different in ways that are hard to explain but for instance, the instruments
