There isn’t any real information to go on about this beautiful house so I’m on a hunch here or limb here. Judging by the size of this place normally the base commander always ends up with the biggest house on the base.
Bazaar with place is that both stair cases lead going downstairs to the outside. You can only go from outside to the upstairs not from the downstairs rooms to the upstairs so that tells me this house at some point was separated into two sections.
There was a kitchen upstairs and downstairs and also a bathroom upstairs and downstairs with toilets.
It was a good explore. RAF Upwood has so much history dating back to 1917 to 1995 and finally 2012.
Firstly used by the Royal Air Force then by the United States Air Force till closure.
