A fire at the KamAZ engine plant in 1993 caused the appearance of new modifications of domestic cars and buses. Ural-4320 received the index 4320-31 in the mid-1990s, while the Yaroslavl diesel YaMZ-238 did not fit under the hood and the familiar Ural received an unusually long nose. In this form, an off-road truck from Miass stepped into the 21st century.
