We get lots of stares/waves and smiles from random people wherever we go. More so when we're running both bikes. You must have created a fair old stir, with that number of Urals in convoy! :)
Really enjoyed your video, maybe less music and more Bike and people sound. Please don't think I am an old grandad that rides a Goldwing outfit... but I am, Lols. Thankyou so much hope there is more. Jim in WA.
Hi BoBa, Спасибо за ваши добрые слова. Взгляните на людей в видео, пожилых людей, улыбающихся и смеющихся, и, самое главное, катающихся и наслаждающихся жизнью, какой она должна быть
Hi Jeroen, your outfit would have been great on a ride like ours. Many of the outfits had road tires and managed to get through without an issue. Love the Guzzi's and will own one one day!! Just tried to build a sub-frame from my Tenere but there are no decent front fixing pints so have had to concede. I will probably sell it now and by a Triumph Street Scrambler and put a chair on that.
@@gregjansen9080 This is how we ride them ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9kRK9_JHPLE.html at 014 sec that's my combination we have a meeting in the east of the Netherlands every year in September
@@jeroenkoeleman4348 That looks fun! I never expected there to be much off roading in Holland...obviously I was wrong! I fear I have to get the street scrambler out of my system before I go to a Guzzi. Great to see what is basically a road bike, off in the bush. Thanks for sharing the video.
@@darinwalker1174 Hi Darin, that's great news. You'll have a blast. Just bear in mind that they where first produced in 1939, they have progressed BUT they are not designed to go over jumps, underwater or through walls. I have had three of them now and I have had little or no problem with any of them. Check "ALL" the nuts and bolts when you get yours and use lots of loctite. I ride mine off-road most of the time, I take it easy and find I'm enjoying my riding a lot more. Not worried about chopped up sand or bull dust and the 2WD will get you out of just about anything. UDF (Ural delay factor) is an issue...anyone walking past it will stop and want to chat about your OLD bike. Actually quite nice and you meet some interesting people. Hopefully, some day soon, we'll see some of your videos. Cheers Greg
@@gregjansen9080 UDF is REAL!!! It takes me 2 minutes to tip off the fuel in my Gear Up, & 20 minutes to answer all the questions & take pictures of the kids in the sidecar! 😂 Those of us who love these machines are a little “different”. We like to color outside the lines, and really DO love how people respond to, and want to learn more about them! I’ve ridden both dirt bike & street bikes for almost my entire life, and my Gear Up is my lifetime favorite. Ride safe, my brothers & sisters, and have FUN! 😎
