Nice review! I've tested z lot of cargo bikes: Lovens explorer, Cube cargo hybrid, Carqon cruise, even different R&M models. Despite this bike not having front suspension, I somehow prefer the driving characteristics from this bike.
@@DeanCallan @Electric Bike Journal I never experienced the old steering, but overall, for my usecase, (2kids and my due to my eye condition, the only transpiration I'm legally able to drive), the UA stood out on several areas. While I preferred the looks and battery setup, front suspension of the newer R&M, I could not but notice the better practicality of the UA. Also, somehow the driving characteristics of the UA where better. I'm not saying that I like the way you sit on the bike more, I prefer a more sporty posture, but again UA won. Also, due to the sporty ride position of the Cube and the R&M I sometimes touched the bikes frame with my toes. With such bikes, peddles are more beneath which make you peddle more with the middle of your feet. With the UA, die to the fact that the pedals are more in front of you I did not seem to have this issue. Anyway, I think they are all very well built bikes. Sometimes it comes down to test drive. In my head I was settled on a Lovens, turned out I was 'wrong' ;-)
