I had no idea who Taco was when I first saw these movies as a kid but after his entrance in that first scene I was like "Oh this guy is gonna be a problem for y'all Turbo & Ozone". His moves were just so precise.
I remember when I seen him in Breakin and just thought he stole the show, easily the best. I was only about 14 mesmerised and we were all trying to click and lock like him taking our jackets off and putting them on again lol
@@Korcasandromedaa the truth, you see them today and they suck, even Boogaloo, people have gotten so much better, Boogaloo shouldn't have break danced, he was amazing they say, and I am sure, my friends knew him and I saw Pop n Taco around the Cerritos mall a few times, he knew my friends also, we wasted our time with this shit , would battle anyone in the mall and sometimes cops would take us home. That didn't make sense to us. It was fun because so many people where around back then, the mall has been dead every since. 90s 2000, 2010, 2020, nothing great has happened. Popping died, breakdancing is still big all over the world. I sucked.. I admit it.. Loved the music and NYC break dancers.
Damn can't believe bruno passed away at just 58. U did ur thing pop n taco n experienced 80s era best era for cultural and musical revelation. Rest in heaven beautiful man😢😢😘😘
@@marie-paulekneur5427 why do you take the term "underrated" as some kind of slight toward him? I'm 43 with 4 Teenagers who don't know who he is. If he wasn't underrated like I said they would know him for his dancing like I do....They know of MJ but they don't know he influenced & helped Mike so when I say underrated although he might be known to a older generation like myself the youngers generation have no clue how great of a talent he was🤷🏿♂️
I was in high school when these movies came out, me and my friends ran to the theatre to watch them all, great times and memories, so glad I grew up in those days..❤️
I feel that. At parties and weddings we would create a circle and everyone would take their turn doing their thing. What an incredible decade we grew up in, I feel sorry for the kids today.
EVEN GOD WOULD SAY IN HEAVEN, MR POPPIN, TACO, HEAVEN IS A BIG DANCE FLOOR, SO SHOW US YOUR MOVES BROTHER!!!!! RIP BRONO, LEGEND OF 80,S STREET DANCE FOR EVER LOLOVELINDA AUSTRALIA ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤😪😪

Rest in Peace. You rocked our world straight through your life and during the most interesting times. Absolute legend! You can the best nowadays but Bruno will always stay above you.
This is real talent and hard work. Utmost respect to Mr. Pop N Taco! My dad put me on Breakin and the break dance culture. Thank you dad! Peace N Love to everyone out there!
Amazing how he continues to inspire seasoned poppers as well as new comers like myself. Was absolutely shocked to hear about his passing. I have nothing but gratitude to the man who embraced poppers from around the world. Rest in peace, Bruno.
Maybe Mexican food is not so good for the figure of a breaker but in his youth Bruno was a tall dancer with precise execution and movements, very impressive
At this time; Bruno was just as good or even a little better than Poppin Pete. @ the time he wanted to join my dancers he wasn't at this level, but I'm glad he kept going to easily surpass my dancers and myself. Much love, Bruno - Larry McCraw
What a beautiful specimen of a man. Hes a dream to me. So Cool..So Hot with moves to die for. What I'd do to sit by his side, even for just a little while ❤️❤️❤️
I started popping in 1980 (10yr) from Portland Oregon. Taco was the seasoning that made a meal great! Vicious as fuck!!! RIP Falcon RIP REAL POPPERS LOVE YOU MAN.
Back in my day I wanted to meet Pop N Taco in the 1990s going on the 2000 and I was in love with the dude I guess that I have to go and look for the guy in person and tell him myself someday
And that right there folks is artistic urban talent at its finest! Smoove moves & visual mirage techniques! The greatest street dancing ever created period!! Break Dancing born in the streets popularized by demand!!
This dude is technically THE VERY BEST!! oh my oh my!! Breathtaking. Oh and the 3 people that gave this video a thumbs down?! Haha they must be joking !
As a body popper in the UK in the early 80s we used to watch videos to get our moves . One of if not the best moves I ever saw was Pop n taco when he was on Chaka Khan"s video I feel for you . Just wicked , always tried to imitate but never duplicate . Smooth like ice, move Taco. Quite simple but so very effective and I had never seen it been done before or after anywhere . 👊
You just gotta have it in you. I remember back in 1982 I think it was, when I was 12, 13 and saw Break’n & BeatStreet, I was amazed by him and BoogalooShrimp. that did it and just because of them I still able to do it. I tried to teach many friends but if they don’t initially have it in them they never could learn it. Simple as that. And of course King M.J. was a huge influence.. ✨❤️✨
Love this My brothers would brake dance in the middle of the street against the guys in the next block , Sick ! You gotta feel the rhythm Pretty sick moves 💯💯💯♥️🔥🔥🔥
I so wanted to be like him when i saw him in the first breakdance movie. I was 14. He was supposed to be the bad guy but he was my favourite. I dont normally react when famous people die but this shocked me. He was so cool. RIP.
