Urban gave everything he had and then some. Buckeye fans have been spoiled the last 7 years. I doubt we will ever see another OSU coach go 7-0 against Ttun. Thank you Urban for the memories. Stay healthy, be well and enjoy your family. Should you get the coaching itch again, I would love to hear: "The new head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals is Urban Meyer".
I know. I was being jokingly wishful, but hey there always seems to be the kid in the class who needs to show everyone how smart they are, like you. I bow to your superior insight into Urban.lol
@@robertbruce5694 No need to be kind now or ever, wouldn't want you to change the way you were brought up. Your a classless and clueless Ohio State fan:)))))
I spent a lot of time accumulating things and felt an empty place in my heart ,a friend died and I helped his wife distribute his stuff to family and friends , I have found family ,friends and most important God , that empty spot is filled , things rust ,we only take with us ,what we give away ,thank you lord for not giving up on me
Everyone needs to turn to the Lord. Everything you do on earth, possessions, accomplishments, they mean nothing. Everyone will spend eternity somewhere, heaven or hell.
yeah it's weird how messed up so many of these guys are.... his actions after the Bengals loss was enough to stamp him loser to me... check the history of Anson Dorrance... I wouldn't have these kind of men on my show.
The moment Urban's wife, Shelley, was crying on the sidelines during the Michigan game I knew that was his last home game as a head coach at Ohio State. She wouldn't have reacted that way otherwise.
Yep. I think most of us saw that and had the same realization. It wasn’t one thing that led to him stepping down, but a compilation of many large things. It wasn’t even a bunch of little things. The year he went through should happen to no one. Bless him and his family, and may they all take care and f their health, and watch Buckeye victories for the side line, wherever that may be. Go Urban, and GO BUCKS!
Winning? LOL. He's a humiliated loser now. A real class act- assaulting players, grinding with women while his players fly back after a big loss. Class act.
So a coach brings you championships and he is supposed to stay until when? When you think the team is at a perfect point? Of course not. Athletes bail ship all the time. Quarterbacks transfer when they are displeased with their environment for greener pastures. If Urban leaves Ohio State this year (a real possibility), then we would be grateful for the 7 years of great football. Sure, we would prefer that Urban not leaving after a very down year (by our standards) with a defense that is the worst we've ever seen in Columbus. But don't forget Urban is a quarterback man and when Tim Tebow was gone so was Urban. The same could happen now that Haskins is performing well. Haskins is not an Urban-type quarterback. He doesn't display toughness running the ball. He is a pure pocket passer and anyone can tell Urban isn't comfortable what it's done to our offense (with lack of ball control)...this also greatly contributed to exposing our defense being on the field so long. In other words, there are many football reasons that it makes it tough for Urban or any coach to want to stay after 6 years. It's why coaches take breaks and move around. Even Nick Saban burned some bridges before he got to Bama.
Urban is a decent man and great coach. Ohio Stste does not deserve this man. Perhaps USC would go after him. Suburn would like to have him. My FSU Noles would welcome him.
