Guangzhou is my hometown, I have stayed in this place for 15 years of my life. I am surprised by this video because I've never expected to see this city( many places that you guys went are so familiar for me) this channel. Meanwhile, this video really opens my mind, cuz I see so many new aspects of Guangzhou that I have never paid attention to. This is an interesting video, it's great!
This is one of the loveliest videos I've watched from artprof! I'm also impressed by those on-site sketches, makes me realize how many sketches I could've done in my life that I had missed
Love all of your relaxing and optimistic vibes and willingness to absorb and adapt yourselves to a foreign culture. I'm glad you enjoyed your time in China and hope to see another video in another Chinese city in the future if you get the chance.
I'm planning on applying to RISD in the fall of 2019 for the fall 2020 semester and these videos are seriously allowing my portfolio to gain so much diversity and broad medium usage. THANK YOU :)
That's so great to hear! We have a video course on how to prepare a portfolio for art school applications, you can see it here: artprof.org/courses/art-school-portfolio/ Good luck!
I wish we could make more of these travel videos!!! If I could have it my way I would spend all my time traveling the world and shooting tutorials on site. Maybe someday when we have a million dollar budget! -Prof Lieu

You guys are so inspiring!!!! I want to try a travel journal once just to see if I can do it 😅 I'm a photographer as well so it would be interesting to see if I can sit stand still long enough to sketch or draw instead of click and go lol

@@artprof yes mam I did see that video too and loved the way how we can or should approach while working out and the mediums and materials we should consider beaded on where we are and the time limit we have..... so those pints were an eye opening for me since I always struggled to draw properly while I travelled..... now am thinking of trying to keep the mediums proper. Thank you so much mam for these awesome suggestion every time it's like a beautiful experiences 😇😊😍😀😊☺... hope to see more videos like this too ✌💜💙
