Stealth campers ode to progress. Golf sure does take up the real estate, the game itself and the endless plethora of accoutrements. Sort of like how a celebrity always travels with an entourage. It was funny when you were explaining the dead mouse smell. The random grimacing is my favorite part.
Great video as always, Kevin! I took my nephews to REI and pointed out that you camp behind it. They were impressed, and I think that one has stealth camping in his future. The beard is awesome!
Development keeps taking away great stealth spots! Great nostalgic stealth Hopefully after they build the top golf there will be a Small Plot left to return!
I was surfing RU-vid and saw this video...I really enjoyed watching this! I look forward to seeing your next video! I used to love camping until I got cancer, that put an end to it for me. Great stuff!! 👍
Stealth camping next to REI is a sweet sweet setup. You can buy a tent and camp it right next door the same day. Then in the morning, if you’ve forgotten anything you just mosey into the store for a resupply.
Best theme song ever. I don't feel I'm alone in my request to open and close with it. I honestly believe that if you did a video of the theme full song it would do well. Gotta give the people what they want Kevin.
When i first heard of the top golf the stealth camp location was all i could think about as I figured it had to ruin it for you. Anyway good video, love how you are so proud to show off rochester.
I try to focus on what makes my city great, even if there are some really not great parts of it. I'd rather amplify the good parts! And thanks man, my secret hope is that I'll be doing a "camping behind Top Golf" next year haha
Feeling the hit out in AZ with the unbelievable urban sprawl. We also have a significant homeless concern out here and not enough resources for those that are camping off grid or stealth who genuinely need help. It is always fun to watch you enjoying some wilderness,, but I guess even up there in Schenectady, it is all disappearing. Ever head down to New Paltz, Rosendale or Lloyd in NY? Still some places...
Great stealth camp Kevin! Ugh Development the killer of urban stealth camp spots. But wait for the next mega recession when they go out of business and tear down the building and again will become a nice camping spot!
Hi Kevin glad to see you out camping like you said cooking on the coal's isnt that bad id be more worried about the bug spray that might cause some health problems down the road cooking on the coals i wouldn't worry about that at all cavemen did it enjoy your space kitties 🍻 cheers
Another thoroughly enjoyable video! I'm noticing a lot more seemingly random bones in your videos lately. Also, nice use of the Space Kitty to kill the mouse (smell). Keep up the good work, wherever you end up.
I'm glad you got that tick-like object off of the top of your head. Save the ditch! Top Golf go away! Where are stealth campers/unsheltered types suppose to go?
probably best to avoid putting the carcinogen meat logs on the fire, wouldn't want to double the carcinogens now lol anyway, I hope the construction doesn't decide to fill that ditch, takes a lot of dirt, hoping next year to see "camping behind top golf" video
2-300 ticks, looks at his arms, but there's one hiding right on his head. LOL! Hi Kevin! Maybe you will still be able to find a way to continue camping there after the failed golf place is built. I say failed because they didn't do their due diligence and figured out that golf isn't much of a thing in that region. It's going to fail.
golf is actually a huge thing in this region, they hold the PGA here every year, and there are myriad golf courses dotted around pretty much everywhere
Since the vast majority of my videos feature a point-to-point camp where I leave my apartment and walk/bike/uber to a camp, I've had an idea for awhile about walking to the train station, taking a train to Buffalo, and finding a place to stealth camp from there. The problem is it's a pretty big task that I can't figure out how to market so people care and actually want to watch the video. "Taking a train to urban stealth camp in Buffalo" wouldn't really excite anyone enough to click for how much effort the whole excursion would be, when I could get more traction just walking or biking to another camp in Rochester. One of the many ideas I'm keeping in my back pocket for the future should my channel grow enough!
I bought my boss and i one of those elecric lighters of course i am a 6 year year old in a 48 year old body i put my thumb over it while it was on in front of my boss i got a good jolt up my arm mini taser i talked my boss into it a little beavis and butt head fun at work 😁
I miss the old buildings that were there. It was a beautiful area with those beautiful buildings and very old sycamore trees. It was such a shame they knocked it all down to build a Costco and those little useless buildings near East Henrietta Road.
hi small plots great channel u got going, almost at 15k subs.i got a question, when did u first start ur channel? i remember when u had just a few hundred subs, and thats around when i first started watching.has it being years already? ive lost track of time
Thank you! I started back in spring 2021, but the first couple of vids were filmed in 2020 and I just hung on to them before I knew what I was gunna do with them. It's been a long, slow climb!
RU-vid has taken to unsubscribing people from your channel, they've been doing for a few months now. Just so you know, and goodbye to the Small Plots small woods...
