Hi Jenny, You are such an inspiration to me. I’m a 31 yr old Mom of 3 and a wife for 11years that has just gone back to school to pursue my dream of becoming an RN. I went back while I was pregnant with our second child in 2009 to 2011 and found it VERY difficult to juggle school, my kids, and my marriage. I’m currently redoing my pre-reqs because even though I got a “B” as you know all medical college programs are super competitive and I want to enhance my chances of getting in. But back to the subject, you are such an inspiration. Every time I feel overwhelmed or like I should drop out of school AGAIN because of financial hardships or just finding the balance to juggle everything I think of you. Thank you for all the inspiration things you say #whatwoulddrjennydo
Hi Jenny lee, I love the RU-vid channel however I do have a question. I myself am an aspiring doctor and I am worried about the way that residency is done in the United States. I’m sure as you are well aware of the average resident works over 80 hours a week. Resident depression rates are way above those of the general population and over 20% of deaths of those in the health field between ages of 25-35 are through suicide. Meanwhile in other countries the average work week for a resident is often as low as 48 hours (not far off from a normal work week) and yet there is no negative impact on the patient care. Why is it you think that the medical system in the United States is this way and do you think that there is anything that can be done about it. Also would you be willing to speak up for better working conditions for residents.
Wyatt vacuuming is one of the cutest things I've ever seen! I didn't think you were serious when you said it was time for him too vacuum! He is getting so big and he always makes me smile!!! These videos are not good for my baby fever lol but the video on ig of wyatt putting noodles on his head helped out :)
I used to have a addiction to opiates(pain killers). I am now in recovery and on the medicine subutex 8mg it's been working great been clean for almost a year. I would love to see you do a addiction rotation.
Hey jenny ...i like your videos and your familly .you're so inspiring specially for medical students ,i hope u more sucsess in your career ..i'm always following u ...
As an outpatient family doc, iis it a good lifestyle as an attending (i.e.) get to take vacations every year, good hours etc and not have to bring home work or worry about patients? I don't care about money. Im deciding between FM and PM&R, but I value lifestyle. I enjoy outpatient FM and its a shorter residency than pm&r so its tough to decide.
I love your vids! I am so excited for baby number 2! Wyatt is a very interesting combination of you and Stan. he def has Stan's head and ears. He has your eyes and hair and what I called the upper brow triangle lol..then he has Stan's lower brow triangle. He is sooo darn cute!
Hi Jenny, I really like your videos and appreciate the way you have managed your home, work and above all Wyatt. He is super cute. And he looks more like his dad Stan, but his smile resembles yours😀
Better to talk about things with your significant other then keep it all bottled up and secret. lol! I've been sad because I can't watch your videos when they come out as quickly as I could this past summer. lol! Something to look forward to, though. :D When Wyatt smiles, he looks like you, otherwise, I think he looks like Stan. Pretty family! :)
Hi Jenny, thanks for taking the time, effort, and expense to create this excellent video, much appreciated. I have tremendous respect for you. Maybe in a future video Stan can share what his tattoos are? I'm sending you positive thoughts and vibrations for a nice and calm week. Zapppp! : )
Yay loved the video. Would love to see a new work day vlog again. :) Happy to see and the guys are still doing great. Trying to currently catch up on youtube right away.
We also have a big exam during the last year of residency that we need to pass before practicing medicine on our own. I think surgeons and OBGYN have to do oral exams still.
Funny thing is that growing up I always thought I’d be a pediatrician. Even after getting into residency my family thought I was going to be a pediatrician 😅 good think in family medicine I get to see everyone from 👶🏻➡️👵🏼👴🏻
Your kiddo is too cute. I must admit to having a few panic attacks as he was running around though; you have a lot of sharp corners, especially that living room table. Still, gorgeous home!
Super mum Jenny! This may be weird but id love to watch what i eat in a daddy video's. I'm Australian and love Asian food and all your food looks so delicious, giving me inspo!! Xx
