When everyone witnesses homeless veterans in the street, when those who served and need medical have to deal with the nightmare that is the VA, yet observe outsiders given hotel rooms, medical care, and financial aid, where is the incentive to join the military? The risks far outweigh the benefits. No one wants to fight and die for a country they can no longer believe in. A country whose government prioritizes everything and everyone except it's own people. Who in their right mind would want to put their lives on the line for what we have become? A country that does not support law, order and peace, but chaos, lawlessness and division.

I foresaw these things coming. Much like when Noah started to build his ARK. People laughed at him believing he was a crazy old man. And yes, even I was made fun of prior to 2000. But I never stopped preparing. Always updating my important items, I feel I need to survive these times upon us now. The fact is, you will always be updating supplies, or replacing them, so your going to have to keep going. There is no end, until it's your time with the Grim Reaper. It's getting tougher trying to update and replace supplies; I feel the pain being retired and only on Social Security Retirement. But I get what I feel I need and sacrifice when needed. If I can do it, you can do it!

That's not entirely true. A military person that rotates out, has X amount of time to file with the VA. That includes Service connected Disability, medical care, as well as the required medications. Once established, service connected veterans will draw a disability check. They will be taken care of.

@@FrankSanfelippo right, and I don't know what its like elsewhere, but the VA is basically useless in Florida. 3 months to get an appointment which they often cancel, tell you nothing but make another appointment 3 more months out. Rude, condescending, treat you like an annoyance. This is my own experience with my son who is a vet. I have heard it from others in my family too, all vets, different branches. So many homeless and on the streets. NO help.

Please take this advice seriously: A young man (maybe young women??) Is better off right now to volunteer to join the military. When you volunteer the enlistee typically get the choice of profession, first duty station, and usually bonuses. When the draft comes: ALL draftee's will be one thing; combat infantry (termed bullet stoppers). You are better to volunteer and get choices (and greatly enhanced percent survivability), then to be drafted and get none. I'm a retired Marine speaking from experience.

I agree - as a war progresses, they start getting desperate and drafting more men from other categories - this is why we should never feel as if we are safe from being drafted - nobody is safe, but if the enemy enters your country, whether you are drafted or not, you will have no choice but to fight or die.

Where I work only 5% of the 22 to 16 year olds are NOT on some drug for some type of mood disorder. Just disgusting. Also, these kids have never learned to keep going through the tiredness, exhaustion, pain to get the job done and are EASILY offended. They have difficulty understanding completing the whole job not just what they want to do. Feel bad for my Supervisor. Little respect for authority or chain of command. Sometimes going to work feels like being dropped inside Lord of the Flies! Hope the military includes those on meds and says if you can take medication to help your “disorder” you are Drafted along with everyone else

Some SAS trained Afghanis who recently arrived to the UK wanted to join the SAS as they had already trained and worked with them. The Afghanis were told that they could not join the military until they had been a resident for at least five years. This means that none of the most recent arrivals will be included in military or a draft. The native population will be sent off to fight and die, while all of the migrants would be left to their own devices in a hollowed out home front. Would you trust millions and millions of unvetted fighting age males, mainly from countries who hate us, to remain peaceful and not take advantage of the situation?

Ukraine is conscripting up to 60 yo men now As a 16 year disabled Army combat veteran, 18 bravo who has trained thousands of troops across the globe, I look around everyday and can’t help but notice as it’s so blatantly obvious how many I see that could never function in many capacities particularly combat related MOSs However, I could see them doing non combat related support functions where, as you mentioned, the vast majority of resources are assigned I also hear many of them say they would leave the country before being drafted The support for their country is just not there Most are liberals and embrace that agenda Why should the conservative mid state parents have to only bear the cost of war and send their sons and daughters off to combat only? I have 2 sons drafting age As for women in combat rolls, they want equal rights I say give it to them and I have a 22 yo daughter I trained IDF and have witnessed exceptional female combatants Other countries as well They cannot pick and choose what they want if they want it all today Just like when I see them protesting for Palestine and Hamas these college age young women This is all organized by bad actors They don’t known what they are protesting I know Hamas I say send them over there for a summer abroad work study course They won’t last a week After they are used for as much as they can manipulate media They will be done My 2 cents ✌️🇺🇸

Well I can't say I agree with your assessment. You say we are not at War but current support against Russia and Iran have us closer to nuclear Armageddon than we've ever been. Yes, I was thinking along the same line as you @Goshen Prepper . My thoughts also are that if they send our Legal Citizens to war and are thinned out, then some won’t even be coming back. That also makes our domestic security much more vulnerable and dangerous for which we must prepare!!

I watched 2 big bulky black planes going on a practice run when I was in town….Fairbanks, AK. Am I concerned? With Russia so so close…yes, you bet a am concerned. War is certainly Hell! Without a doubt. I was in high school during the Vietnam War. Young men joined a branch of government of their choice….sitting around waiting to be drafted then you are in the Army fighting up front directly in harms way. Many of the young men married and had babies right away so they would not be drafted.

If the DOD was that worried about recruiting and retention, they wouldn't be trying to screw us Reserve status retirees out of getting our retirement. They're actually trying to dump the administrative burden on us, now, hoping that we simply forget to "apply" for it. You cant tell me that every single person out there (due to some mental or physical disability) who got their 20-year Letter decades ago is getting their earned and promised retirement.

Its a sad subject.this new generation just doesnt have what it takes.im older than dirt my kids were raised with this in mind .but today at store i was in frist hand acount a male individual was a he she .it took all i had not to speak my mind it was boggling to me .but on other hand we have been infiltrated all ready.trump has to make it.we have no choice.my kids are old enough but keep asking me what to do.i told them go stand your ground your a physical fit man stronger than most people just get mentally conditioned for this and heaven sake dont get killed .great show .im listening to you and im geting nervous i sure hope i get to sit this one out.thanks thank you for exposing just what could happen.

We're so much getting closer to a civil dispute here domestically that a major war would "most likely" not turn out like it did in world war two era where we (at least from my understanding from relatives) had more unity and patriotic values. If we had a war now one political party just might point the finger and blame the other instead of unifying and defeating the enemy. If this much of America supports communist or Marxist ideas then I don't see how this will work out. We are supposed to be accustomed to fighting for freedom and life not that crap. If we go to war against China a what? Communist nation? Another thing on top of this division and inner conflict of our own, the enemy will just cause more division. The stress of war in general will aggravate these domestic wounds, including the economy I would assume. Maybe the military industrial complex can get around this ? But my whole point is that it's feasible to consider that a world war three may end up collapsing the US. And with all these people here from places that hate us, obviously they will attack us inside if there's a war like that. Just scratching the surface! Be safe everyone.

We need to not pay bonuses to military recruiters. They should have to earn straight pay like others in the military. Also. they need to tell the truth to the young people they are hoping to recruit. How can we expect the recruited to have respect for the military if their very first contact with them is lies? Recruiters should not be able to "fix" things in the recruit's life so make it possible for them to enlist.
