MARCH for narrator and flexible ensemble explores the rhythms, dynamics and emotional landscapes of political marching at a time of upheaval and polarisation. The score is interactive, asking each player where they stand on diverse issues. The piece invites the players to make choices, but what they play doesn't depend on their aesthetic inclination but on their actions, feelings, and views on themes ranging from violent resistance to ketchup.
