Friendly advice, for audio get something called a “de-esser” I have to use one when I voice work but it takes off some sharp sounds and makes you smoother and add a multi band compressor (usually can find these free or stock in a DAW) and then boost your low end of your voice just a bit. You have such an amazing voice it just needs smol edits here and there. Your intros and editing on everything else is shocking. The amount of work you clearly put in and not to mention research and choosing what makes it to the cutting room floor is so well done. Idk your view count is so low, you should be near a million or so not 125k. I’m sharing your page with all my friends and pinned it in our discord. We love this kind of stuff.

The names Urin and Thummin rings of the two ravens the Aesir god Oden/Odin/Wodan had on his shoulders. They were spying to deliver intelligence to Odin. Their names are Hugin and Munin. The Lore probably goes pretty deep beyond the written word we have.
@@adonaiblackwood meh. only in so much as the sound is similar. the word roots, as well as the bird's purpose, coloration, usage etc. are all fairly unrelated. i'd need something more concrete. huginn(thought) and muninn(memory) are living entities(something not present in the other stories) and embodiments of odinn's mental faculties, his mind, just as his wolves, geri(hunger) and Freki(greed/desire) represented his emotional longings and survival concerns, his heart. they don't serve as a direct conduit of communication/divination like a "radio", they spy on us in midgard and then report back to Odinn, like santa's elves. even assuming Odinn used them in reverse to DELIVER a mesage, this would be more akin to God sending an angelic messenger on his behalf than it would be to God speaking *directly* though the burning bush, or through other physical objects like stones. the black and white theming is not found in any scandinavian sources i know of concerning Odinn's ravens. commonly modern english translations often render huginn and muninn as "Ravens" which would be the Common Raven(Corvus Corax in latin, "Korp" in swedish or similar scandi languages), but the texts most often reference huginn and muninn as "Kråka", a word more commonly attributed to either the Hooded Crow/Carrion Crow/Rook(Corvus Cornix/Corvus Corone/Corvus Frugilegus, respectively), if they were referencing the black and white theming from the other tales, they'd likely refer to a Magpie(Pico Pico in latin, "Skata" in swedish/scandinavian tongues). this would be the only reference that is shown in reverse(IE God has a radiio to US, not us having a radio to GOD), and their does not seem to be many of the other elements present. for example the breastplate of 12 stones in the judaic sources and the general high ritual trappings compared to old norse religious practices that seem from what sources we have to have been simpler affairs, make no mention of such a vestment as necessary, and neither 12 nor 2 are important numbers in norse culture(unlike numbers such as 3 or 9 which show up alot, in texts 12 and 2 are much more rare). in total, i think the naming similarity is coincidental, and without further corroborating evidence, establishing that Odinn's ravens(living creatures that spy on us), the yinyang(flow of universal spiritual energies), and the judaic urim/thummim(two stones carried in the pocket that let you talk to god) are one and the same is just heresay. you could maybe argue the stones are a symbolic object and kept close to the heart behind the breastplate to indicate they are a symbolic representation of a higher spiritual concept within ourselves, a simulacrum of the spiritual idea of yin/yang, and that the jews did not speak to god so much as they "went with the flow" and aligned themselves with God's will/plan maybe, there's just enough there to warrant looking at it through that lens. for all we know the jews used urim and thumimm the way we use those chinese "Dragon and Phoenix" ringing meditation balls you roll in your hand, circling the black and white stones in their hand and meditating on the interplay between the two. but without norse reference to either a way for US to use the same strategy to send messages to Odinn or directly summon his birds to carry a message TO him on OUR behalf, a reference to carrying physical objects like carved stone ravens etc for divination, or something referring to one of his birds as white or either of them as glowing/shining, i just don't see a strong enough link yet.
Per Professor Ronald Hutton of the University of Bristol, who degree specializes in pagan studies said that the lore of Odin wasn't written down until 13th century AD in Iceland at least several hundred yrs after missionaries had brought the Bible to the Norsemen. The similarities to Christ (i.e. Odin hanging on the tree for 9 days stabbing himself) was influenced by Christianity. The rewriting of Jesus's crucifixion was essentially to say to the missionaries that we have a more powerful god who hung himself, stabbed himself, and hung for 9 days straight! The story of the stones which the Hebrew priests had affixed one on each shoulder, most likely came from the missionaries. There are huge similarities between the Aesir and the lore of the Kauk-Turks of Kaukasus. In essence, you can take their belief system and just change the names of the gods. They in turn seems to have taken a lot from eastern steppe ideas of there being an all-seeing god in the sky in the daytime. That's why there are similarities in the words 'day' and 'deus'. The male principle is light and the father (pater) principle. Darkness and the mother is the female principle. In the day you are out and about, in the night you need sleep and protection in the dark. The Father in Heaven is day-father -> deus-pater -> diupater -> Jupiter. The Greek pantheon is older than Christianity, which takes its influence from the myths of Mitra, Apollon and other older material as well. And don't forget the hindu lore. Living in Sweden I have the old history almost on my doorstep. I live in the inner part of southern Sweden. We don't have very much of Viking leftovers, but from the earlier culture, the Van culture. As far as I now understand it, the "vikings" had a culture that differed and came from the south-east of Ros (the land of the old seafaring tribes that is still called Roslagen: the law of the Ros, compare Danelagen in England). Compare with Kiev-Rus and Russia. There are new findings in Swedish archeology pointing in the direction of us having had long distance contacts long before the Christian era, like 3500 years ago. Christianity wasn't such a new invention that Christians believe. The old Babylonian culture seems to have wandered to what became Rome and the Roman empire. The Romans hi-jacked the early Christendom repressing and fighting against the Judeans and mixing their older Saturnalian and Mitran beliefs with the new influences of Christ/Apollon to bake it into the Roman Catholic Church. All religions refering to and revering a non-physical entity in the sky as highest authority build on the idea that their own god is the only true god. And then we fight and kill to prove who is right.

I have often contemplated this very subject. First, I want to point out that King Saul was not a priest and therefore not authorized to access priestly items. The high priest would have been wearing the associated breast plate while using the Urim and Thumim. (Note that the suffix 'im' indicates plurality in Hebrew) The Ephod contained stones which were also crystals. Consider the more modern crystal radio and the strange phenomenon in which dental fillings can act as receivers of radio frequency. I have long suspected that the Ephod was indeed a type of transmitter/receiver and that the Urim and Thumim could not be used without the Ephod. When Jesus said, "The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" was he disclosing a parallel realm encompassing our 3D bubble? If so, it is not surprising that unearthly entities can access our realm and even communicate with us. Finally, if you could travel back in time and describe a quantum computer to the high priest, would it sound any stranger that the Ephod and corresponding Urim and Thumim sound to us?
It’s not, the matrix on the breastplate is just a good way to organize the data about the tribes. If any way was done differently from normal setting of the stones this would be mentioned. With the technical stone settings done in those days they would all be at ground level. You need some kind of potential gradient to generate any kind of power. Now on the Arc of the Covenant there are specific mentions on it’s construction. The description resembles the old fashion Leyden Jar that was used to store static electricity. No one mentioned how the cherubim was connected to the Arc so we can only guess. Could make a Saint Elmo’s Fire effect maybe?

I found it interesting speaking from a Jewish mindset when a friend of mine who was from the Latter Day Saints had given me some books to read about their religion I remember talking to my Rabbi about it and he was actually very glad that I talked to them. He told me that he found it interesting about how they talked about their Prophet being given this devices and used them to translate some plates. It's interesting to say the least. Just like the breast plate for the Cohen there are words that were used for the different stones but actually what those precious gems are scholars have debated on exactly what that is or was.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints your research was very interesting. It reminds me of passage in the Book of Mormon that other records will come forth that will likewise testify of Christ. In a bible study I did years ago, Priscillia Shirer describes prayer as a radio antenna, connecting our "station" to God's. Considering that Jesus Christ's purpose was to close the metaphysical separation between God and humankind, it all makes sense.

You're my favorite channel that covers subjects even close to this. You're taking deep dives into subjects I've never heard of before. The Enochian video especially blew my mind. Seems rather bizarre that even in ancient Jewish and Hebrew history, they would speak of the necessity of objects or devices to contact God more clearly. Obviously this is in contrast to the New Testament where God speaks down to Jesus as he is being baptized, God speaking directly to Abraham, and of course the many times that Angels came down in physical form to speak with people throughout the text. Why would a radio or cellphone-like device be necessary? It also says a lot about the overall believability of religion when your connection to your God can only truly be attained through a specific object. But if that object is lost or no longer works, you feel like you've lost an integral part of what made your connection with your god possible. But, this is why they teach about having a personal relationship with God these days, and why so many people claim they can hear him directly in their heads. Guess we didn't need the Urim and Thummim after all.
Adding to this I know in Christianity specifically it’s supposed to be two separate ages and periods (names might not be right going from memory): the age of law before the son of god was conceived on earth, and the age of forgiveness after conception

Also, in the Old Testament, it was said that when Moses would speak with Yahweh in his tent for a prolonged period of time his face would start to glow so every time he would exit his tent, he'd put a veil to cover his face, but still people would notice his glowing face. Great video! Its actually amazing how many people whom follow the bible whether thru religion or just use the bible as their spiritual guidance denounce divination, crystals, and a like! Wow Excellent video, and very thought provoking, I think you have drawn some very profound and logical conclusions. I would like to add a couple of Points. As a Crystal enthusiast and specialist, Onyx is a micro crystalline Quartz and very dense in its nature and containing the highly concentrated energy that Quartz itself is Famous for. Onyx is normally Black or banded with White (and sometimes with Sard or Carnelian called Sardonyx, as Onyx is technically a type of Agate), however very pure quality Onyx is White, thus yu have the black and white Onyx stones of the Urim and Thummin. Black Onyx is also saturated with Carbon and how it gets the black color, and like Carbon Diamonds is very High Energy, but more specifically like Carbon Graphine known as a super-conductor. The pure white Onyx would allow the transfer of Energy conducted by the black Onyx to flow more freely through the natural energetic system of the wearer or user. Another point I want to make is that you brought up the fact that Onyx, and in fact all the Gems in the breastplate are correctly attributed to have Piezoelectric properties, which involves pressure to activate them, this is correct, but what is not mentioned is that they all also have Pyroelectric properties which means that heat can activate them and is the reason that wearing gemstone pendants and rings on the skin warms them up and activates the properties within the stone and carries that energy to the wearer. As these 12 highly energetic Pyroelectric stones are covering the entire chest and the Urim and Thummin being made of Onyx, it is only reasonable to assume that the body heat of the wearer, especially over the heart, would in fact charge both the Urim and Thummin, and all the Gems in the breastplate creating a highly charged and activated super conductor capable of infinite possibilites of frquency and communication like any modern technological wireless,/ Wi-Fi devices confirming your radio theory. Your Piezoelectric theory is very plausible, but it is never explained where the pressure comes from to accomplish the effect, where as the Pyroelectric effect would be more plausible coming from the body heat and the heart, however the two electrical properties working in conjunction and unison with each other through holding them and tightly squeezing them may contribute to the glowing effect and higher spiritual energy.... Yes, I've read about a year ago that the 12 gemstones on the High Priest's breastplate were most likely all variations of quartz and the piezoelectric radio communications theory is very plausible. The thought that Yahweh Elohim is also a dragon or a Seraphim (type of celestial angelic being) is also interesting but very difficult to prove.
Amazing research and presentation, but I wanted to clarify for everyone that the papyri Joseph Smith purchased, once thought to have been destroyed in a fire, were located again in the 1960’s by the Mormon/LDS church. These were sent to scholars and experts in ancient Egyptian writings, and were proven to be nothing more than common burial rites. They were not at all related to Abraham of the Bible.

As someone who has a natural affinity to the esoteric side of gemstones, I truly enjoyed this video. It is my personal belief that many of these stones possessed the ability to glow during the early days of mankind, especially those with a translucency. They possess a lot more power then what many people attribute to them. I was amazed at how many times I overlooked these two items within these biblical stories of the Old Testament. It was impressive how you trace the root words back to their Sumerian origins, as there are MANY similarities between the two belief systems.

Just wanted to add that a more common belief in jewish lore about the urim and tumim is that it refers to the ephod and was used by the high priest to communicate with God. This was accomplished through the illumination of the letters of the tribal names inscribed on the stones of the ephod. These letters would spell out a message that would need to be interpreted by the high priest. Also, it would seem that a more common way of communication with God was through prophecy and visions. There are some really good books out there that cover the esoteric and practical means of this more direct communication.
Urim=light or to reveal. Thummim=voice or language together symbolizing truth so when being asked to keep the urim and thummim over your heart before God it's referencing to be truthful before him he knows your heart

You should consider tackling more Latter Day Saints ideas. We often dismiss them, but the stories are very interesting. I'm fascinated by pre-theosophy ideas that enabled people to think differently about God, the world and religious ideals. Another cool idea is 'The Cellular Cosmogeny'. A very strange cult/sect that had ideas about the Earth being inside of the aether.

It's actually why I'm here, I found the YT channels which I thought were exposing the unknown were actually providing just enough uncertain details and disinformation to convince me that the truth is unobtainable. Yet those channels remained, while the ones I thought were just fantastical were removed. It was when I realized that anything going into depth (not just the ancient alien: 'it has to be aliens' approach, but real depth) about alternative history, Tartaryans, nephilim, giants, hollow earth, the mudslide reset, khabbalist cultural interference, ancient gods/demons, etc. where not only removed off of youtube but they were scrubbed from search engines, blacklisted by all payment processors, doxed and the ones that are still around have had to operate from behind paywalls on the dark web. I was pleasantly surprised to see this channel making similar content to what I took for granted in 2012 - 2017 and look forward to enjoying more. Cheers for the good work!

Also, if a certain frequency is reached, objects can be caused to resonate. I believe that the urim and thummim would be hidden in a bag, and God could vary the frequency of energy directed at stones, in order to cause one or the other to resonate/vibrate/pulsate... The priest would draw out the activated stone, and the color of the stone would indicate what message God was communicating to the high priest. In the Bible we are told that angels can be hindered in delivering messages to humans, such as the angel Gabriel was hindered in coming to the prophet Daniel and Michael had to come to his aid... I believe angels are engaged in spiritual warfare so it is not easy for them to visit and deliver communications. The urim and thummim was a method by which God could communicate with a priest bypassing difficulties.

hmmm.. this is interesting, the "robe containing enough gold that it could stand by itself" would make a very good radiation shield and most of those precious stone are thermoluminescent and used in radiation dosimetry. Edit: looking at the Ephod construction it wouldn't have provided that much of a shield due to the construction, except Gideons which reputedly contained 42lbs of gold. That would have been a very respectable Radiographers Apron, but he never saw the Ark of the Covenant as far as I can find out.
@@alicealexandersaint It's a difficult question but possible. The Ephod that the priests typically wore has the characteristic that it may provide some radiation protection if there were any present. So, it comes down to the question of whether the design was intentionally for that purpose or the gold was purely decorative. Sadly we'll probably never know the answer. As per my edit to the original comment, traditional construction of an Ephod doesn't contain enough gold to provide much protection but "traditional" is a difficult term, in those days was the tradition different and did they incorporate more gold? Radioactivity would certainly explain its claimed ability to kill.

I found a good divination method by mixing the Urim and Thumim from the Bible and the coin method from the I ching in its newer state, just talk to god or the spirits and flip some coins. . .the law of averages of threes will give you a fairly good answer and you don't need to memorize tons of tarot cards or have complicated rituals. If the creator can effect things in a seemingly random state then you can ask any questions with a yes/no response. Be mindful of what you ask, the creator does try to hide by reversing his polarity at times. I may sound crazy but if the tarot can give wisdom and warning so can the coin method. What makes one thing more preferable than another? If theres no separation then ask a question, flip a coin a few times and see for yourselves. Just dont walk off any cliff's.
I have a theory that would make a much shorter video. The "stones" aren't and never were physical items. Much of what you describe in the video sounds more like explanations for, yes, processing and decision making, but the two concepts of Urim and Thummin never had to be tied to mystical objects. When you speak of the chest plate, and how these two stones are meant to be placed "over the heart in front of god," this sounds like a very religious metaphor for living a life true to god, making your decisions through your love of god and with god as witness. It could just be a religious framing device for making honorable and fair judgements; for guiding a moral society. Just a thought! Great video.

The original recording of the lady’s speech is available in RU-vid is quite esoteric bordering on psychotic yet retains some lucid moments.There were many Short Wave radio stations back in the 80s and 90s and you can still find the odd ones today where they are utilised by Cults. As a member of the Mormon church, I am very familiar with the Urim and Thummim. It is believed that Joseph Smith used these seer stones to write the Book of Mormon. Though I’ve been a life long member, I’ve never heard such a great explanation of their use and history. Thanks for the information.
By the way, Joseph Smith may have used this URIM and Thumim to enable his translation of the Book of Mormon and the Book of Abraham , hhowever its well known that Joseph used a stone that he had found earlier in his life (before having ever obtained any Golden Plates and before his bing called to be a prophet of God, which position is officially reffered to as High Priest). In fact, he used this stone to find burred treasure but we chastised for it because of thie stones misuse. But he used this stone ss a prophet to translate the book of Mormon. He would put his stone in his tall hat and put his face in it so that it would block out all light and when he did this, the stone would glow and show with words, the translated words of whatever ancient holy text he was translating at the moment. But as for how he used the Urrim and Thumim, we dont know.
