Vishal Asodariya primary and secondary gout is based on cause of gout. one needs to test for causes of increased uric acid. if u find a cause like cancer or kidney failure then it is secondary gout else if u can not find a cause it is primary. treatment for raised uric acid is the same. in sec gout uvalso treat the cause of increased uric acid

Alb creat ratio is best. But testing microalb is not easily available. Next best option is prot creat ratio

I have been told. A ratio under 30 is good.

Poor substitute. Most of the protein found in urine is alb. With this logic, and the fact that the kit for urine/csf protein is cheap. We can do prot creat ratio. Normal values however is different
