I like how you pause to give a chance for students/viewers to think and recall information. Overall this video is a great review of the process.

The picture and the use of colors to differentiate between what materials are reabsorbed and secreted were very helpful! Thanks for clarifying which elements get secreted and absorbed. I was extremely confused by the diagram in the PowerPoint. Color-coding the arrows and placing them either above or below the convoluted tubules really helped me understand which materials get reabsorbed into the blood and secreted out as urine. Also, I liked how you walked through the pathway one step at a time.

This was a difficult concept for me grasp when you went over it in class so i very much appreciate this video. I also really like the fact that you used color coding (red/pink) to help us understand where certain molecules such as H2O go (whether it is reabsorbed back into the blood or secreted out as urine).

I never realized how complex the creation of urine was, but I think I have a good understanding now that you broke everything into simple parts. I was also having some trouble learning the parts, but now since you explained how urine is created along that pathway, the parts do not seem so difficult anymore.

The urinary system has many tiny parts to remember and understand. This video was really helpful in understanding what goes where. I really love the diagrams that you draw for us. They are extremely helpful.

I was pretty confused going over the powerpoint as it was really vague. This video really cleared the process up with the amount of detail you explained it in like for example why potassium is secreted in the distal convoluted tubule.

Following the diagram helped me through the duration of the video, I would have to replay it often so it ended up taking me about 15 minutes to understand it better. Glad I was able to pause and replay though to make sure I understood the concept and what gets filtered, secreted, and absorbed and when.

Good video. I like how you explain each region of the nephron and describe their function. However, I would like to know how the nephrons are affected when there is an abundance of protein in the urine. ​
