A cheap and simple multi charger for 1S lipos and LiHV batteries - which seems like a no brainer if you are flying whoops, so let's check this out and also highlight an alternative charger or two.
This product was supplied by review by Banggood, so here's their (affiliate) product link www.banggood.c...
The slightly less flashy, but still great Eachine alternative is here www.banggood.c...

I preordered the URUAV charger but already regret it, audible queue when charging is done is very convenient. The reason I ordered it is because I am annoyed of having to wait for the readings to cycle through each and every port and output in the other chargers, when I want to know at what charge state a specific battery is. I guess the Boldclash charger will remain my go-to. By the way, most of the cheap 6-way chargers over-charge the LiPos, which is a big downside. Some do it always, some do it sometimes, some do it in a few charging ports only.

That Eachine 1S charger work kind of funny for me. It, acording to the display, charged my batteries to 4.4 or 4.37 volts. A lot batteries damaged after few charges. I ordered the Uruav charger. I just came today. I'll see how it goes.

Cheers, good review. Incidentally you can cut that lip off the case on that Eachine charger so you can fit MCX -style batteries on both rows. :)

I have this URUAV charger, one important downside of this charger is, it can never fully charged the lipo.. I and my friends are having this..total all 3 units of it, are having the same issue. When fully charged and reading as 4.2v on the charger, but using a multi-tester to measure the lipo voltage.. it only about 4.15v +/- 0.2v ... Initially I tough my lipo were aged, but after tested with new lipo, still the same.. another minor downside of it is, when no battery is connected, the port voltage reading still showing as 4.2v, which is not an issue, but confusing. For a better quality of charge current control and accuracy 1S lipo charger in this similar range, would be the 1S charger from AOKoda

The mCX connectors on the URUAV are reverse polarity...

Why do none of these support storage charging! The moment someone makes one capable of it, it'll be an instant buy. Useless otherwise, I'll just keep using my parallel board + ISDT Q6.

I have been using a Turnigy Accucell6 for a couple of years now and it is excellent value. Does storage charge real good and easy. I also use an old laptop power supply (19v DC output to provide the input.)

At last a charger than can set individual amps for each channel! If I didn't already have about 10 of these 6 port 1s chargers I'd get one for sure lol!

@@CurryKitten haha, some of the 10 are those silly little green ones though so probably don't count, I'd call it a draw lol. It does look a nice charger though in all seriousness, if it's reliable could be the one to get. I am using the uruav 2s / 1s 4 port charger and it's overcharging randomly which is not good, think it's a firmware bug.

Great review, dude! 😊 Both looks to be great chargers, but both still lack one important thing: stock charging. 😕

As in storage charge ? Yes - very true, and I actually had it as being a downside on all these smaller multi 1s chargers

How about making your own balance lead for the 1s batteries, as long they are all the same you could in theory make a 2-6s lead and then use a proper charger like the ISDT D2.
@CurryKitten
@CurryKitten 5 лет назад
Yep, certainly could be done - I quite like the dedicated chargers for these though as I'm usually doing other size lipos on my other chargers

Good review & comparison of the two chargers. BTW, I know how to modify those Eachine ones to charge up to three 2S batteries through their balance lead at once, just waiting on a £2 part from China for the modification, and then I'll do a proper writeup on how it's done. If you're competent with replacing SMD resistors you can change the charging rates of the Eachine charger.
@CurryKitten
@CurryKitten 5 лет назад
I shouldn't le let near SMD components now, I regularly murder them when not intending to. Sounds cool, but I'll stick to my regular chargers for 2s :)

Replacing the 5-way joystick on my mp3 player many years ago I accidentally removed a 0201 sized resistor, and dropped it on the carpet... I did find it, with the help of sellotape and a magnifying glass, and soldered it back on using a pin crudely attached to the soldering iron. I still regularly use it to this day :)

That is a nice charger it is a shame that it has no DC input but I am sure you could Jerry Rig an XTC connector onto a PSU and power it that way.

Yeah - it's not a big job to create my own cable, but my thinking is that it should already be there

Hi can you tell me what adapter you are using for the DC input for the Happy model 6-1 charger... I bought a mobula 7 recently but I only have 1s batteries so a DC adapter will be nice.

@CurryKitten

From that angle it does doesn't it ! My rule of ditching lipos is based on flying them though. If they still get decent flight times they are kept. If they get dodgy, and are big lipos then they get recycled into bench/charging batteries and if smaller made safe/thrown. On that one, I don't know as I've not been flying the traditional 68mm brushed whoop lately
