This is yet another adventure game/visual novel (the genres weren't really established at this time) based on the manga of the same name by Rumiko Takahashi. Urusai Yatsura was developed in house with Hudson and as well as published by them (with the Hudson Soft name).
It tells the story of lonely Ataru Moroboshi who meets a beautiful alien named Oni (who happens to look like a female human). She has to stay in hiding, so she insists on living with him as his wife. The premise is similar to many situational comedy manga and anime in Japan.
