1. Mr.Srinavas studied his Chemical engineering in Trivandrum, Kerala. He is a friend of many Malayalee Singers and Music directors. However, Keralites thinks he's Tamil, and Tamils think he's a Keralite..Who is he actually ?😂 2.Eventhough, he worked a lot with AR Rehman as a Chorus singer, the first solo song was given to him was Vidyasagar another music director. How did Vidyasagar called him for malayalam songs? 3. Even singer Kartik got his chance to sing for Rehman only because of Srinivas. How he gave chance to other new comers who can be his competitor later on ?😂 4. Being a South India Zone manager of a Chemical Company, what was his mind process while resigning his job which gives good remmuneration?

Urvashi until today is still a hit. The 1st time listening to it, OMG.... For me, it was the first album which made all tamilians started to use high tech music device to make it more enhanced because the quality of the music is way too good.... That was when we started to demand our parents for walkman cassette player... It's really nostalgic

My earliest memories of Prabhudeva are from this tamil movie called Suriyan in 1992 where he danced to the "Lalakku Dol Dappi ma" song - it was a typical tamil folk number which was a big hit and the tamils first took notice of this rubberized, boneless wonder, called Prabhudeva. Of course, Chikku bukku Rayile the next year made him an household name. We knew him then as Dance Master Sundaram's son. As for Oorvasi, the lyrics were by Vairamuthu, who was known for his poetic, complex words - and he surprised everyone by using pop culture and slice of life references. Figure-u, Oliyum Oliyum, party - these were our daily lingo in school and college. Rahman of course brought in his genius to make the tracks of Kadhalan immortal. Udit Narayan, a uncanny choice for the Kadhalikum Pennin track - where he jammed with the inimitable SPB who also danced with Prabhudeva in the song. The Kadhalan soundtrack with Oorvasi, Ennavale, Mukkabala, Pettai Rap, Kadhalikkum Pennin, Gopala and Other tracks was a collection of new age sound, like never seen before. Thank you for kindling some fantastic memories.

This interview should have been in Tamil with English subtritles. Prabhu could have recounted the entire experience in detail with eloquence, without struggling for words. We would have a real detailed account of his days shooting Gentleman and Kaadhalan. There is nothing wrong in not doing an interview in English. You can't do a good interview with Kurosawa or Morricone in English. We have hardly got 10% of what Prabhu would have actually given us in these episodes! This is not a complaint. This is a concern.

@@wellbeing6198I second that. They should see their power combo despite Mr. Romeo or Love Birds bombed at the BO. The way he dances like electric speed in that song is impeccable and the song too is sung by Udit Narayan, a Hindi singer yet it seems to be not discussed here. Also, Sapnay movie is not a BO hit anywhere but yet they are going to cover it probably because it has won National and Filmfare awards. That seems to be their standard to measure the merit of musical or anyone's success for that matter. Infact, in Love Birds he collaborated with Apache Indian to create the crazy rap song No problem! Well, are they listening to these records as well!?
