Tell me pls when Im eligible to receive benefits from welfare (such as: food stamps, cash asistente, and diasability)? Is it when I got I-767 or after the interview which goes after fingerprints? THX!
So once you come off the plane and you meet with the boarder patrol, you just tell them you want to seek asylum, they'll have you fill out some documents, and allow you one year to schedule the hearing?
Not certainly in that way. If you come to the United States on a visa, then you will have one year to prepare documents and submit an application (petition) for political asylum. But if you come to the US border and ask for asylum, then your case will be considered by the court, and possibly within the walls of an immigration prison. And as a rule, such cases are considered within 3-4 months.
Hi and appreciate for this helpful content Can you really guarantee the case approval if the person is in the country? Also do you offer services of getting visa for entry in the country? Thanks
Hello, I am a Rohingya Muslim from Myanmar. I think you may be aware of the situation of the Rohingya. I claim asylum in the UK. Unfortunately, I withdraw my case after one month and 15 days from the UK due to my wife's pregnancy and UK health sector service. Now I would like to claim in the US. It will be an issue because I have a claimed previously in the UK. Thanks..
hi , i live in turkey , i have a Jordanian nationality , but i have a refugee proof papers because my grandfathers and my parents were refugees , can i apply for the embassy from turkey for the refugee visa , is it accepted? what should i do , thank you
I applied for asylum from February and till now I didn’t get any confirmation I don’t know if they received my case or no and my loyer didn’t contact me from that date it’s weird
This is bad. If there is no answer within a month after sending the documents, the lawyer must resolve this issue. Change your lawyer, otherwise there will be trouble.
I need a lower to prepare my application and be with me in the interview. If I pay your office $2,000 is only to submit my application or also to be with me in the interview?
Hi, thank you for sharing. I applied for asylum in the end of 2018 and received Recommended Approval in Feb 2019. Recently, I noticed the case pending clock stopped at 571 days since 2 weeks ago, I don't know why, could you provide any idea about it? Much appreciate!
Hi! Two options: either your case is approved And you basically do not need a work permit, or your case was rejected, your case is sent to court, and in this case, sometimes the clock stops. it is possible that you did not receive the letter because it was lost. But in theory, you should have had information about your final decision. Although, given the current situation, a lot of work incorrectly. It is in such cases that you need a lawyer who can contact the migration service or the court and have the authority to deal with such issues. In your case, I would advise you to make an info pass, but I'm afraid that today it is not yet possible.
@@VictorAbel123 Hi, I do appreciate your help. I just got a notice today including 2 information. The first thing is that they adjusted I-485 (c) (9) in my case. The second thing is they waived the filing fee for I-765 and mailed me a notice. And a few hours later, I saw the pending time had changed to 105 days when I checked my case on the website.
Considering the hundreds of thousands who just walk across your southern border it baffles me why you would not let Canadians who have so much in common with you just get automatic asylum especially if they have the means to look after themselves .
Sir can a person apply for asylum after rejection of there first VAWA case . My friend already staying in USA since 3 year . His VAWA case is rejected now can he apply for asylum process now
Hello, I just got my green card through asylum and would like to know how to fly aboard since I can’t have a passport from my home country, should I apply for a travel document?
Hi Before obtaining US citizenship, I do not recommend that you travel to your home country, otherwise you may lose your green card, citizenship, and even your asylum status.

Hello. Me, my hubby and baby intend to cross to the US mexico border to get to carlifornia. Can you help us when we want to apply for asylum? I am from Nigeria and we reside in brazil we intend to Cross d border, please is it possible?
Hi. I'm 23 year old, from a country in Asia (don't want to mention the names) but I live in a Gulf country. Both these countries have no women rights and we're tortured every second. We're forced to give up on our dreams and rights and live according to the wish and will of men who believe in honour killing. I want to be safe and want to escape from this and live a life of my own. I have a friend in USA and is ready to help me. So can I apply for asylum and will the embassy help me?. Please help me with some information. I want to leave this place after a year as I'm in so much trouble.
@@VictorAbel123 could you please tell the otherwise option for getting out of this country and going to safe country like USA because my friend is there.?
I am a transwomen, I’ve been beaten by anyone random people several times and haven’t reported. The last time I am beaten was December and police dont accomodate my complain. I don’t know what I should provide as proof. Even my family doesn’t accept me and my uncles threatened me to beat me because they are Muslim and don’t like us. I don’t even go outside now and I was a little paranoid. Can someone help me what should I do?
If, as a result of the war, you find yourself in a refugee camp, then there you can apply for asylum through the UN. And there is a small chance that you will be given asylum, and the country of the United States will take you. But as far as I understand, the "war" in Azerbaijan has already ended (with the victory of Azerbaijan), and it seems that no refugee camps are planned.
@@VictorAbel123 No matter we are in war or not I don't want to spend my young years in mandatory military service. I think conscription is desyry human rights. Can I apply asylum ?? Answer pls.
Hi...I have 3 to 4 questions in my mind..pls kindly answer them... 1. If I come to the USA all alone then i after what time can I file an asylum case.. I mean can we file it the next very day or it has to be a time duration like u can only file after 2 or 3 or 6 months of entering the state...? 2. And suppose if we r allowed to file the case very nxt day then how much time will it take to get social security number ? And lastly if I had visited America prior also then can I still file an asylum case as some say that ur previous travel history should not be of the same country in which u r seeking asylum..is it true ? Pls guide..
Hi 1. You have one year from your arrival in the US to apply for asylum. 2. By law, you can apply for a work permit 1 year after you applied for asylum. But there is 1 loophole with it you can get a work permit and SSN after 180 days. 3. You can apply for asylum in the US even if you have previously returned to your home country. The only thing you need to argue is that since your last visit to the United States, things have changed in your homeland, why you didn’t apply for asylum then, but now you decided to do it.
I am from Myanmar (Burma) I hope you have heard of the situation in my country. But my question is, though I'm from Burma but I have escaped to India and likely to apply for indian passport so can I come to US with Indian passport and then apply Asylum? Please desperately in need🙏
