U.S. Border Patrol Checkpoint - King Cone Special Delivery from Miller's Towing, Good Humor Ice Cream at the Yuma, Arizona Immigration Inspection Station, 20 September 2013 yuma310.com/border_dance.htm
It was back on 31 May 2013 at a Pine Valley, CA, Checkpoint that my car was impounded and all my property was seized. I enjoyed the experience and found it liberating and exciting to be set on foot in a strange city with nothing but an ID and Credit Cards. One guy at the Impound Lot recognized me from previous Checkpoint videos I made and they told me of their camping story where they handed the Agents the trash they collected over the weekend. I handed the Agents 4 Ice Cream Cones. --Rob
This was me going through a U.S. Border Patrol Checkpoint Immigration Inspection Station. Usually the Agents ask the travelers if they are U.S. Citizens and if they aren't, they want to see proof of their right to be in the Country. I try to understand the Checkpoints from different viewpoints and was given the idea of handing the Agent something by the guys at Miller's Towing who impounded my car for the U.S. Border Patrol when I refused to roll my window down or respond to their questions.
I saw the dog handler signaled to the Agent that questions the occupants to wave me through without questions. I think he recognized me as I go though the Checkpoints doing different things. You can see some of my other transitions listed on my RU-vid Playlist along with 2 Border Patrol Checkpoint Documentary Films where I go through a methodical exploration of these Immigration Inspection Stations. --Rob
