Not "building" per say, but re-assembling all ready built and test flown aircraft. upgrades and repairs, maintenance and shipping/receiving have planes taken apart and reassembled in hangers all over the world.

Calling F-2 F-16 is akward a bit. It sounds like Japan has adopted F-16 as it is. In fact, It's still a variant of F-16, but is also jacked up enough to be identified as a diffrerent plane.

The manned SR 71 blackbird is a specialized reconnaissance bird. It wasn't quite what I was referring to. However, you are correct they may have a classified unmanned "lower" flying reconnaissance aircraft that fits that niche.

What a nonsense. They can be shot down easily. Wing carrying capacity is not strong for agile maneuvers. The drones fly in such a straight path that even FLAK can easily attack them. they don't have stealth technology. The Reapers are only good if the enemy has no air defenses at all. Otherwise, he doesn't even need weapons to bring down the drone, as the black sea incident showed.
