Hi! Thanks for the info. Can you please explain, what exactly is "Evidence that you resided in the United States in the legal and physical custody of your U.S. citizen parent" what kind of documents we need to provide? Thanks in advance!
My father died in 1986 when I was 6 years old, I entered the states with a green card in 1994 at age 14. I start taking my dad's social security benefit to support myself, that makes me an automatic citizen of INA 320, let me know, gracia 😁👍
hello, my dad became a US citizen in 2014 and that was before me and my siblings turned 18. my brother who's in the military had just gotten his oath notice scheduled later this month and he filed n400. i filed n-400 as well last december, but it was only after filing that I realized i should have done n-600 because apparently we are us citizens already. my question is, will it get denied? i looked online and saw that a lot of people who had the same situation as me had their applications denied by uscis because they filed the wrong application. im thinking that my brother's case was an exception because he's in the military but im really hoping that it gets approved. any advice? thank you in advance
Hi...I'm a US citizen and filed a petition of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA, I think it's N400) for my 3 minor biological children. We had a scheduled interview for my kid's US citizenship but was canceled due to Covid19 and we haven't been called since. The embassy in Manila said they're not resuming the schedules for now. Question: is there another way of taking my children to meet my family in the US? A tourist visa for them perhaps?
Hello, when I turned 18 my mother was already a US Citizen and I was a US Permanent Resident. I did not file for citizenship at the time. I am now almost a decade older and I’m not sure if I would have to file for an N-400 and pay or if there is any easier way such as applying for a US Passport, thank you in advance.
Hello! Thank you for the informative video. I do have a question though. I am an American citizen since 1996. My fiancé is pregnant right now in the Philippines. I am 100% that I am the biological father. Do I need to file a I-130 or Report of Birth in the US Embassy? Thank you so much for your time.

Do I need N600 to get my adopted child’s passport ? I came here to the US when I was 15 so I became a us citizen through my father, but I never knew I needed the certificate. I just adopted my child from a different country, I want to get his us passport; do I need to provide a certificate for me in order to do his passport? Thank you for answering!

If so what documents do i need if they ask for "evidence of citizenship" do i show them my dad's certificate or do i have to apply n600

Hello I entered the US at the age of 14 back in 2015 with a IR-2 my stepdad was a citizen but I never got the citizenship until I was 21. Because nobody in my family or I did know before I started the application. Can I still apply for the N600 to get a citizenship certificate instead of the naturalization certificate?
Hi, my daughter applied for n600 but got an RFE. She is 18yo now. USCIS is asking for my custody documents when my duaghter was still a minor. But I don’t have it. I didn’t file one back in my country. What can we do now? I’m worried uscis will deny her case because of that. What should we do?
You can send any or all of the following 1. School records showing that she lived in your address 2. Medical records showing the same address 3. Health insurance 4. Auto insurance 5. If your child is working, W2 or any other documents showing that she was in your custody

I've been in the USA for 2 years, becoming a citizen through the military. My spouse and 2-year-old son, in Nepal, have an IR2 visa. Can I skip the green card and go straight to citizenship for my son?
I became a us citizen by naturalization but the mother is not a citizen and still lives in Hati (We were never married). Both our names are on the birth certificate of the child. I got a letter (in the process of applying for my child’s passport) saying I that need to prove that the child is in my legal custody, so I had the mom send a written letter of consent and the passport agency still sent a second request (I am assuming it didn’t work). What documents can I submit to prove that because I don’t have a custody decree or any of the sort?
@@VisaHarmony My child is a permanent resident in the United States and I applied for the passport In person in the US (specifically, I submitted the in person application at a post office). My child is 16 years old.
Hi. I’m confused about my daughter’s status. She’s turning 15 and we are both GC holders that will expire this July 2024. She got adopted by my US citizen husband and got approved this January 2024. Should I apply for her N600 or removal of conditions of our GC? And also, can I apply for US passport since her foreign passport will expire soon too?

Hi! Thank you for the info. I have some questions. I am now 29 y/o, I just got my 1st time US passport in the philippines. And I just arrived in the US last nov. I have 2 minor children in the philippines. Are they eligible to apply for CRBA?
You have to petition them to come to the US. Once they in the US lawfully, you can apply their US passport. They automatically become US citizen because of your US citizenship. Here’s the link travel.state.gov/content/dam/aa/pdfs/FAQs_Child_Citizenship_Act_of_2000.pdf.

Hi, in my situation, i’m 16 and i’m currently waiting for my green card, my father is a citizen but he lives in Cape Verde, my older brother is currently my guardian and he’s not a citizen yet, and when my green card is ready I want to apply for the passport, so i’m questioning if my passport will be denied because my older brother who is currently my guardian is not a citizen. One more question, if my uncle (my dad’s brother and a american citizen) was my currently guardian, would I be able to apply for the passport?
Bruno you automatically become a US citizen when one of your parent is a US citizen by birth or naturalization. Since you are still minor, you need to be accompanied by your US citizen father to apply a US passport. She can apply for your brother’s US passport with the following documents. I know these because I did it for my 3 kids under 18 y/o: 1) original copy of your Mom’s US naturalization certificate 2) original or certified true copy of your brothers foreign birth certificate 3) completed US passport application with required passport photos 4) your brothers original green card or foreign passport with permanent visa stamp 5) must apply in person 6) pay the passport fee

Hello. Thanks for the content. USCIS says minor under 14 years of age can't have their USCIS account and that parents have apply for them through parents account. @@danielzpcsk85 by applying the minor's US passport, the passport will be their proof of US citizenship. They will not receive N600 certificate. But if you really want your child to have the certificate then pay the $1.385 and complete the N-600 application form. Otherwise, the passport is enough for them.
