I had my interview for my 4 kids, and I got turned down. I answered all the questions they asked. I already have my visa, and I travel only once it, I stayed for two 2weeks in the state. My mom is currently sick at this moment. She has stage 4 cancer , and she has not seen her grandkids since 2017 . I have been working at my company as a repairs supervisor for two years, and I still got turned down.
Hi i was refused for F1 visa yesterday most probably because i left my job 4 months ago. Is leaving job a red flag ? I was asked why data science, what programming languages do you use and why did you leave your job. Then boom yellow. I gave the most honest answer "I left the job because i didnt see growth there and i wanted to become a data scientist now so i left the job and started taking courses from coursera". He was a short indian origin visa officer. I was pretty confident and told the most honest answer
Sorry to hear about this experience! Having a job is certainly not a prerequisite to obtaining a student visa, however. You may benefit from reviewing our online student visa courses at www.zfvisaguides.com. Best of luck if you apply again!
I got the F1 visa in June to study MBA. I left my job 3 months prior to the visa interview. I filled in the DS-160 form that I left my job to focus on the MBA studying, that I'm also pursuing international certificates (in the same industry with my previous job) that will support for my long term career path. This is an honest answer. During the interview, I was not asked anything related to my previous job, just 2 easy questions which school will I study in the US and which school did I study in my hometown. So I think that maybe you should explain clearly in the DS-160 form why you are being unemployed, what you are doing right now to support that decision and your studying in the US, and how all of those things related to your future career path. You have 300 characters for explanation, use it wisely. If being asked during the interview, try to give more positive and rational reasons like how the data science are growing in your country, how did you experience in that area previously and you realize that you can go far in that area. Not just simply saying that because you did not see growth in your previous job. It will make you look like you are being negative and making decision without rational thinking
Hello thank you for the tip.. actually when I was a child I want to go to USA.. I have a little money on my savings but I'm sure it's enough just to spend a short visit to america just to fullfil my dreams but I know that reason is not enough to a visa officer and I will get rejected for sure... 😂 But anyway thank you sir for some insights to an officers... I wish to have a good job and a good status in life this year for me to get an easy approval of a visa.. thank you and have a good Life sir ❤

I have been a sports teacher in Algeria for 5 years. I obtained a master’s degree from the University of Algiers in 2018. Recently, I contacted Columbus Community College, registered and obtained an i-20. Does the consul ask me why I registered at a community college when you have a university degree?

I recently discovered your valuable videos and tips for passing the F-1 visa interview, and I wish I had found them earlier. I applied for an F-1 visa two months ago but was not successful. I believe this might have been due to the MPOWER loan I had at the time. Since then, I have canceled the loan and received financial support as a grant from my employer, where I have worked for three years. This grant includes a job offer with an excellent salary in their financial management team after I complete my master's degree and return to my home country. Would it be beneficial to mention these changes in financial support at the beginning of my upcoming visa interview on Thursday, August 8, 2024? Thanks in advance for your guidance ❤
You should definitely mention these changes! We also suggest that you review our online student visa courses at www.zfvisaguides.com for all the insight you'll need to prepare for your interview. Best of luck!
Today I took my third visa attempt and the officer shoot me with just one question. Your last interview officer mentioned that your visa was rejected for 214(B). So what have you improved to overcome 214(B)? I was shocked shocked because I have never heard of that before and i dont even know how to change or improve to overcome that in 2 months. I was asked just 2 questions and rejected. Be prepared guys.
This is a fairly common question some Visa Officers ask after a previous refusal. It's not that fair, however, since you are rarely given details about why you were previously refused. Reach out to us at info@zfvisa.com, and we can help you sort through this and prepare for your next attempt.
Sir please advise me, I don't use my surname in my any of my government official documents so in my passport. Is there any problem while getting work visa for norway? What should i write in the visa application form in the surname column?
Most applicants are nervous at the time of their interview - this is only natural! Just remember that with proper preparation, you can manage your nerves and (hopefully) get a much better outcome.
Thank you sir for the insightful message. Please I have an upcoming interview in September but the conference has passed it was in march what can I do please 🙏🏾
How about making a video on how to GET AN INTERVIEW IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. I never thought that it would get to this point after I did everything required for the fiance visa there, and then told that I have to login daily and HOPE TO FIND an interview. I had thought that once you paid the visa fee and did all required, that you would be assigned an interview. But not down there.
This is normal practice for the finance interview, and several factors might affect how quickly you're able to schedule something. Reach out to us at info@zfvisa.com, and we'll see if there might be something we can do to help.
The Embassy/Consulate should have correct information from your SEVIS number, but it's best to reach out to the post where you interviewed noting your mistake. Check the website for contact information.
We do have several videos on B1/B2 visas, but I'm happy to cover something we haven't gotten to. Send us any specific questions you have to info@zfvisa.com. Thanks!
Hello sir. I am 32 yrs old and genuinly unmarried. Now i have DV visa interview in few days and I have heard that there will be interrogation regarding marriage for people above the age of 26. Now how am i suppose to prove them that i am genuinly married?
Is it a must that u have to take a photo of the DV rotary submission few days before submitting? Or u can take it any time u want and keep it to be prepared.
Hi Travis, I am a new subscriber. Is it okay to be friendly with the visa officer during the interview? Or do I need to talk to him or her very formally?
I would recommend that you're authentic - if you're normally friendly and cheerful, that's great. if you're normally more formal, then don't force anything. Deference and respect to the Visa Officer are best, but they do want to understand who you are as an individual person, so authenticity is also important.
Hello I’m trying to apply for a us visa rn and I’m all stressed out about the amount of different information on the Internet I’m living in Luxembourg and met my American boyfriend here, we’re planning to go to visit his family for Christmas. A lot of people told me to not say anything about him, just that I’m going alone for tourism. I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to lie. Should I just tell the visa officer the truth? I’m not planning on staying in the us and we are coming back together, but what if the visa officer will think that I’m going there for a green card?
Hey travis, you’re a big help but I have this question in mind that as a health care student, I would like to attempt license test for USA, so can I say that my purpose of visit is to appear for the test? As that test is only available in the USA or Canada
@@ZFvisa That I know, but the an actual file to contain the papers is not allowed to be brought in. So the matter of organizing it nicely inside a folder is kind of not relevant.
My father is deceased. Can I show my mother as my sponsor for my F1 visa? I should mention that I am from Bangladesh, where women are often not employed enough. However, my mother is a government employee, and she also manages a business that she inherited from my father. I will be very glad if you inform me.
Hello, could you please have answer my question. I'm an 19 year old male and am an US citizen. I got married overseas where legal age of marriage for man is 21 years old. Meaning my marriage was not recognized by that county’s law. Should i consider K-1 Visa since technically we are not married by law. Also state my situation in an separate peice of paper in the K1 visa application?
I have a visa interview on Wednesday and this is my 3rd visa interview, I want to know what the visa officer mean by what has changed since your last interview

Hey Travis, quick question. Is it negative to mention that I'm over 30 that's why I'm trying to get an American degree to get ahead of the competition in my country? Are LDS members going to LDS universities frowned upon? Thanks for the content!
You may face slightly higher scrutiny given your age, so it's always a good idea to explain why you're seeking a degree, and how the specific degree will help you. You should not expect additional scrutiny just because you are an LDS member. We suggest you review our online student visa courses at www.zfvisaguides.com for all the details you'll need to prepare for your interview, including how to explain gaps in your education.
Thanks Am grandma.. want to visit my son my daughter in lawwho are excepting there first born affer along struggle.. Reason I was petitioned.. But it's not ready.. will this bring a problem. I will to stay with them during this occasion and come back.
At the time of interview, if candidate can not a good speaker of english or he gave his interview in his own language....Then what will be visa officer thought about the candidate...For the visa Is english is the compulsary for every candidate, those who wants to go USA on visitor visa...
English is recommended for student visas, but for most other visas, your own language is generally acceptable. Visa Officers are often trained in the local language, so they should be able to communicate with you during the interview.
We suggest you review our online student visa training courses at www.zfvisaguides.com - there, we talk about how to explain your funding plans, including self-funding students.
Hello sir i have one questions I have 2 emild via apply usa University 1 emild via apply 2 University 2 emild via apply 3 University so visa officer ask me how many universitiey you apply ??me sad 3 or 5
Good day! I was just recently denied an f1 student visa and I’ll be having a new interview in a few days. When asked what has changed, can I say something like, “I was not able to mention to the officer that I have a full tuition scholarship and also tell him that my dad who would be funding, has $20k in his savings dollar account”?
That may be a good thing to say, but it's hard to give you specific advice without knowing more about your situation. Send us an email at info@zfvisa.com if you'd like our help to prepare!
