I wish my voice was in better shape so I could’ve talked more but I’m happy to get this out there. Almost had a mishap with the binder so that’s why it cut out. Enjoy :)
Did not realize the Older US notes had so much Art. I have some 1920s French and German notes and thought the Europeans put more Art into their Notes. But now seeing Older US notes. We were all the same. 👌
Fantastic collection! I've been collecting since early 2022 and I passed on the lower graded notes but now that I see them all together I wish I hadn't.
Great collection, it's nice to see some notes that have had a life of their own, it's all part of their history what a story they could tell if they could.
Outstanding collection my friend! You have lots of notes that I don't even own yet! The Jackass note, the 1869 $1 Rainbow, 1896 $5 Educational, 1886 Hancock. All of those notes are on my WISH-LIST!! Looks like I have a lot of work to do. I really love your 1882 $50 Gold Certificate! That thing is BAD ASS! You have an awesome collection! 👍I'm really looking forward for your update on this video.
Thank you man it means a lot. The 1882 $50 is a hidden gem of mine. I have some really nice pieces that I’ve acquired since this video dropped that I’ll be displaying this summer. I have many raw pieces that need to be preserved better so I will be submitting to PMG when I feel like I’m at a good place to hold off from new pieces for a minute. We are stewards more than mere collectors in my mind. That’s what makes this so amazing. Likewise I’ll be following your progress!
i noticed they only made those big head monochrome notes for a few years before they changed them to the new ones. i dont even see them in circulation anymore.
Holy crap bro, what a collection 🤘Besides liking every note you have, the 1891,1882,1922 gold certificates are really cool, they just look a little different,I like the color and setup
My heart skips a bit. I'm always fascinated with US Banknotes and love to collect someday. For now I'll have to focus on my US-Phil Banknotes Collection.
I love some of the serial numbers on those, plenty of multiple numbers sequence, double pairs and such on top of being such old rare notes to begin with. Hopefully they'll worth a fair bit more than gace velue at this point, the way inflation has devestated the value of that money since the time it was printed compared to using it when it was more valuable, especially if it was invested carefully in something rock solid, would make it difficult to recoup those losses selling the money now and break even I would suspect.
BRO!!!! Welcome back and thanks for the update! I see you've been busy once again especially in the small size arena it looks like. I really enjoyed this video mainly because I see our collecting habits being VERY similar. We are type collectors of all notes it appears. I appreciate variety of many types of notes and love putting together as you did small short sets such as denomination sets within the different year series of small size notes. (i.e. 1-100 1928 and 1934 FRN's, one type of each LT deuce etc.) The Fr75 almost has a cool serial number too boot. I see you have aquired almost all of the affordable large size notes there are except the poker chip and morgan back. Other than that man I think you have it covered. Well done. I've also been on a buying spree. I haven't been able to put up as much videos as I'd like to but hopefully will soon be able to share a few more of my pickups. Do you collect any obsoletes or CSA's? I swore I'd never get into them however they've grown on me recently. Mainly again just one's with a historical nickname or rad vignette. Well, thanks again for sharing with us I hope you are doing well bro!
Thank you man as you said I'm getting to the point where every single new addition is very expensive. I enjoy collecting by type the most. I never saw much a reason to get district sets or fr's. I see myself putting together a single denomination set of the CSA notes maybe from 63' or 64'. I really like obsolete's with eagles and complete reverses so we shall see. My biggest hole atm is all fractional notes. I'm not sure what grade range I want to collect yet for those. I'll see you around :)
Congratulations that was a must see I do have almost all of them , you have some large ones that I'm still looking but I got a lot that you don't have soon I'll make a couple of videos to show them all... I did enjoy your video thanks for sharing and keep it up ... regards
I really appreciate man! You were one of my very very first subscribers so you know how far it’s come over the years. Are you talking obsolete notes? If so maybe a few here and there that I find appealing.
That's quite an impressive collection! I'm sure you will be upgrading some of them. There are a few of the large size notes I wouldn't mind having. Let me know if you ever want to get rid of some doubles.
