I take a look at inexpensive nylon US Military surplus Sustainment Pouches with is a very versatile bag. Can be used to carry a mess kit/kitchen, use as a haversack or waist pack.
An excellent piece of kit. 👍🏼👍🏼 Mine holds an Emberlit FireAnt stove, a small Snow Peak mess kit , and a weeks worth of food. I keep it in my Jeep. You know, just in case I break down in the middle of nowhere…. or if I decide (spur of the moment) to go fishing for a few days.
Hey that's a great video thank you for taking the time to make it and brother let me tell you I know all about losing your train to thought I'm only 57
👍 .. 'losing one's train of thought'. Now at 73, my rail car at the end gets derailed regularly on route to wherever 😁. Earlier years, I knew it as 'pre-occupation' and would like to think it the same .. 😏.
Sustainment pouches were issued w/the large Molle ll backpack. One pouch on each of the upper left/right side of the backpack. As you demonstrated very useful on or off the pack.
👍👍👍 .. nice 😊. Utility bags like that always come in handy as one will always find 'utilities' to pack into them 😏. While they're available at a good price, best taken advantage of. At the very least, they can be put away and serve later as gifts etc. Thanks for sharing .. take care ..
You can Take the LC-2 Alice Pack Shoulder Straps, Or any Shoulder Straps if you're creative and run them through the snap straps in Back..Now you have a Small back pack...Scout Pack.👍
Just watched this again, and an idea hit me… I’m gonna see if a poncho and poncho liner would fit in this bag. Throwing in some paracord and a few stakes would make it a shelter/sleeping kit. (Maybe throw in my basha or even my polish Lavoo) I’m all about compartmentalization these days.
These will hold three US MRE's. And you can dye them with Rit liquid dye. I just did the entire MOLLE II large rucksack and sustainment pouches in Apple Green. Hopefully I'll have video up tonight or tomorrow. Great video!!
@@planetsideagent A couple of suggestions - write a script. Rehearse. Edit script as needed. Rehearse new script. Repeat as needed. Don't be afraid to stop recording and start over. Learn to edit videos. Record in small chunks, repeat chunks. Edit, cut and paste. Every successful video on RU-vid is done this way. Don't be afraid, or surprised, to spend a couple of hours to get a 10 minute video. You will get better over time. If it was easy, everyone would do it. Watch one of my favorite content providers, Foxes Afloat. They make it look easy, until you watch the outtakes at the end of their videos. Then you'll see just how hard it really is to make it look easy.
