There was a story about Force Recon in The Battle of Fallujah II. I saw one article about it on SOFREP and that was it. There's really no information about the unit elsewhere. Extremely interested in this story since it's one of the Marines' biggest modern battle. "Almost two days before the battle for Fallujah, the Marines' elite Force Reconnaissance units had infiltrated the northern periphery of town. They had dug into “hide sites” and “shaped” the future battlefield, calling in guerrilla positions for the spectacular bombardment that preceded the invasion" - SOFREP

The only thing we know for sure about the Battle of Khashham is there was no shoot out between Russians and Americans and it is very likely no one in Wagner was killed.

Awesome, thank you as always! The reason I've covered this was to showcase this specific battle as a clash between US and Russia, which had the political tensions rising for a short while. Delta Force as well as Green Berets and Marines where involved, so that made it very interesting to tell and inform about.

Actually survivors of the Russian mercenaries recieved medals for surviving the American onslaught that wasn't fake so there's that
