The U.S. surgeon general on Tuesday declared gun violence a public health crisis, driven by the fast-growing number of injuries and deaths involving firearms in the country.
The advisory issued by Dr. Vivek Murthy, the nation's top doctor, came as the U.S. grappled with another summer weekend marked by mass shootings that left dozens of people dead or wounded.

It’s not the a gun problem. It’s a mental health issue is the problem. I know most will remember when we were young and we had parents that would teach us right and wrong. We didn’t get participation trophies. And most young men had a pick up we had a gun in the back window or the truck. Rather a shot gun or a lever action rifle. Go through any school parking lot and you would see 10 to 20 truck with the guns. We didn’t worry about school shootings they just didn’t happen. The the liberals started screening about God in schools. No one was aloud to have a picture of Jesus Christ or the 10 Commandments anything religious. Until Muslims came around and now they’re allowed to practice their faith In the schools but not Christians. Now the kids have no moral compass to go by. My question to you is if you don’t believe in God and the Bible. Where does your moral code come from?
