US to keep operating Al Udeid air base in Qatar for 10 years | WION 

In an important development, the United States has agreed with Qatar to keep its large military base in operation in the Middle East. Quoting sources from the US Department of Defense Reports say that the 10-year extension concerns the Al Udeid Air Base in the desert Southwest of Doha is the biggest US military installation in East Asia.
