The US and UK conducted a massive air strike campaign on the Houthis tonight. Their operation was supported by the Netherlands, Australia, Canada, and Bahrain. They hit more than a dozen targets ranging from radars to training camps and airports to drone and missile sites. They used fighter jets, warships, and submarines.. They also used tomahawk cruise missiles on the Houthis. A US official told V.O.A. “we hit them pretty hard & pretty good”. President Biden said that tonight was a clear message that the US and its allies won’t tolerate attacks on their personnel, on the freedom of navigation, or their commercial vessels. Adding that he won’t hesitate to do it again. The Houthis had been warned over 10 times, including a final warning, to stop attacking international shipping but they continued. They say that they won’t let this “American aggression” go unanswered and that their response will be much greater than anything they’ve done before. If you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.
