Hi everyone! This is me sharing my experience when I had my Medical Examination at St. Lukes Extension Clinic for my US Immigrant Visa Application.
This video talks about the documents I prepared before I submit myself for the Medical Exam at SLEC, how much did I prepare, summary of my 2-day tests, how long is the process and some helpful tips.

katatapos ko lang mag take ng medical exam last feb.17,2020 pasado naman ako may 3 vaccine ang sa akin itinurok kailangan ko pa rin daw mag polio vaccine , noong tinawag ung name ko ang sabi ng medical staff na naginterviewed sa akin na sila na daw ang magsend sa us embassy ng result ,ang dadalhin ko lang sa us embassy ay ung apointment confirmation, ung US immigrant visa D-260 ,ung passport,at ung 1 piraso ng 2x2 picture na binigay ng SLEC galing sa akin na kinuha nila at other documents . ang question ko nagbago na ba ng policy ang SLEC ? sila na ang magsend sa US embassy ng results. thanks

so true diyan ako na delayed ng 8 weeks wala nman silang nkita sa smear at culture test malabo lang yung chest xray ko blured lang so nag undergo ako ng smeartest at culture test in 8th weeks pero thank God ..hindi ako nag treatment dahil wala nman kami history ng tb or any kind of lung problem ..masuwerte parin ako compare sa nag treatment sa st lukes not less than 8 months araw araw kang iinum ng gamot sa harap ng ng doctors at may card kang DOT..

Hi good day! First of all I wanna thank you for your informative topics! I just wanna ask if the immunization was not complete. Do i have to bring my children to their pedia dr to give a complete imumunization? Or Did the st. Lukes provide or given a necessary immunization ? Thank you!

Yung sa akin last 2020 pa na medical nag expired kasi naabotan ako ng covid19 pandemic kaya di ko nagamit papunta sa US embassy manila. Ngayon 2022 na re take daw ako ng medical exam kasi nag expired na.

Hi po, wala po ba kayong sputum collection ng 3 consecutive days? Tapos mag aantay po kayo ng atleast 2 months for the result? Kasi ganun po yung nangyari sa mama ko kahapon.. bakit po kaya ganun na ngaun? Nakakainis po e. Kelangan po tuloy ipa reschedule yung interview.. :(

Hannah Ocampo Good question. That’s one popular belief. Actually the day does not matter. Everyday talaga mahaba ang pila sa medical. I think I went there on a Tuesday. The following day madami pa din.

Hi Lex tanong lang pano if wala kang immunisation record. Do i need to acquire it before medical examination? How will you know po na u need medical exams Lex. Sasabihin ba nila kung ka susubmit lang ng petition paper mo. Ilang buwan ba ung expiration ng madical examination. Sorry maraming tanong

heysage Hello. You will receive a letter from NVC that your visa is already in process and in there, the date of the interview is included. Now, you have to schedule your Medical Exam before that interview date. Thanks!

Mark 040297 Hi. After completing The online registration, pupunta ka na lang sa clinic on the date you reserved online. Make sure you bring the printed registration (data sheet)

You will undergo SPUTUM TEST if your xray is not clear. Instructions will be given to you if SLEC requires you to have your sputum examined.

Gol Aremulleh I don’t have one. They will interview/assess you. The doctor will prescribe the immunisations. I think i had 3...

Medical clearance is a must, as far as i know. Read the instructions mailed or emailed to you. If medical is a requirement, then you must undergo medical exam.

hi. id like to ask if that SLEC registration form is just the same as the email sent to me by the SLEC. what happens after they sent me the confirmation of the registration? yup lang ba? is it the email of confirmation lang..?

Maureen Leona Once you registered online, you will receive a confirmation email and that includes your data sheet. The guards will check that before you can enter the clinic.

Hello sir, I am just wondering how long is the wait for the schedule of appointments? I will clarify; from the time you made an appointment for this exam how many days until you had your exam? Can an appointment be made in a week, two weeks, three weeks time frame( for example)? I am asking because I am adopting and I will be waiting on the child/children's appt at St. Luke's followed by their Embassy visit. Thank you in advance.

mymusicandrythym If you can not provide original documentation of the vaccination, SLMC will not honor. And they will administer age-specific vaccines. Yung mga vaccines given nung bata Di na kailangan. Ages 15 and up considered adult na.

Garretlee Ayag Read the Instructions of the NVC. Its in their website. If you never had TB or you think you dont have one, 2 weeks is fine.

You will be called to a counter. They will ask about the details you filled out. You can ask them to change it. Don’t worry.

Hi. I actually do not understand your situation. My advice is call the US embassy hotline to ask about your petition. Make sure you have your IV CASE Number when you call them because that’s the first thing that they will ask.
