I’m really sorry late ko na nakita reply mo hehe, I started applying may then I got the ds-260 confirmation by september, then yung application ko na review by october, unfortunately may document parents ko na expired na and they had to submit a new one, so as of now I’m currently waiting for another review by NVC and yung schedule for interview ko :))

My sis was not asked prior to her interview to make a letter and prepare some docs for F2B retention unlike you but since we watched your videos we prepared it just in case and they did asked for it. Thank you for all the information ! This is the first question I ask here. Me and my sister (29 &30 years old) just got approved for F2B (Family based) after 5 years of waiting from Israel (My parents are permanent resident in USA). Now we're waiting for the Interview + Having the right documents. I wanted to know about any Financial statements: Everything is fine, but we have a debate about the question If they would ask me and my sister for any salary/bank/financial statements as they ask my parents (the petitioners). I know they need to do it as our sponsors, but I don't know about us. thanks!

I just finished my interview as a f2b applicant with a naturalized citizen petitioner and they never asked for f2b retention letter, certificate of naturalization nor gave me a 221(g) form.

Ano po nakapasa po kami sa interview 1990 and 1992 Hindi kami nakarating sa America dahil sa plane ticket Hindi sinipot ng nanay ko yung letter ng embassy after we approved the interview. Renato Caraig Jr Actually, i did nothing. I just regularly check the visa bulletin. That’s it and you go on with your life. But make sure you plan ahead, like in my case, i informed my employer about my status.
Na trauma na ako and dismaya sa Interview ko s US tourist visa... Di ko alam Kung Kung bakit kami na denied married na kami ng husband ko dito s Pinas... Then we had k1/K2 visa application before but we didn't pursue that one application Kaya nag decide yong husband ko ng tourist visa nalang para makavisit cla s US since vacation naman... Wala naman sa embassy kung transgender po kayo. Ang importante sa kanila latest picture po ninyo :) may napanood ako sa THE VISA HOUR ng us embassy manila at lahat ng nagsasalita doon ay consul ng us embassy. May nag tanong about sa gender nya. Gay daw po sya magkakaroon daw ba ng epekto sa pag apply nya.. ang sagot po ng consul.. wala sa kanjla kung gay ang applicant. as long as maipakita nya ang strong ties nya at be honest. Sa pag correct ng DS 160 baka pwede mo pa ma correct or mag dagdag tumawag ka lang sa call center nila at sasabihin sayo mag redo ka ng DS 160 habang may days ka pa. Kasi ako nalimutan ko ang middle name ko and that time may 1 week pa ako before interview kaya sabi sa akin ng call center i can still correct my DS 169 just to redo my DS 160 and call them again para maguhin nkla sa system nila reference number mo na bago and then mag email sila ng bagong schedule of appoinment with new reference number. Hi. You mentioned here in the comments that you were already passed 21yrs on your first petition. My family was petitioned in 1997 when I was still 14-15years old, I am turning 38 now so based on my actual age I am already aged out and not eligible for the visa. Anyway, Based on my research there is a certain CSPA law that freezes “childs” ages when they are petitioned and there is a CSPA formula (actual age - years the petition was pending = CSPA Age) to get your CSPA age. There is a CSPA calculator available online btw. My CSPA age is 15 which makes me eligible, so I am hoping I can immigrate with my parents. Mu question is, when were you petitioned on your first petition? Because I believe petition made before Aug 6, 2002 will protect children from aging out.

Here's our situation, my husband has been petition was filed in 2013 (he was still single at that time) by his parents. Then my husband and I got married last 2018, but prior to that my parents in-law did an update to the NVC that their son is getting married so that the petition which was filed on 2013 will not be void. So, last year May 2021 we received a letter from NVC that the petition of my husband was approved. Then my husband was told that he needs to make an acct at CEAC portal and send a mail to NVC. He was told also that within 48 hours he should received a reply. But unfortunately there was no reply. So my inlaws decided to consult to a lawyer, and my husband was told that it might take another 5 to 8yrs of waiting. Lex, maybe you have an idea why it would take that long? Is't maybe bec he is married now and that has something to do with the petition bec it was modified. Or just maybe beac of the backlogs from the embassy? Hi. It’s just the difference in the priority date at that time. The processing is faster if I retain my status. But I’m not saying it’s for all. Every case is unique.
Hi! I received mine, i cut the entire plastic pouch on top to get my passport is that ok? But I did not open the yellow enevelope. I saw other vloggers just cutting a small portion on the side of plastic pouch now I am worried :(
Ms Yz Yeah, Just get your passport, check the visa page, make sure your name and other details were typed correctly. Read the papers too, instructions for PDOS and how to pay for your green card.

Hello there. Can I ask, did you call the Embassy after your interview to register your delivery address? Diba nasa ds-160 form na yung delivery info. natin? Just done with interview last Feb 21, my status is still AP. Now I'm wondering if not calling to register my delivery address is causing the delay of my visa issuance.
Gladys Esquierdo I don’t recall calling the embassy after my interview. Yes your correct, we already have the delivery address. What you can do is go online to track your visa. (Or call the call center to assist you creating that online account)
