I have been refused fornmy blunder mistake in chennai. I answered all questions. Finally interviewer asked me to place four finger for finger print verification. I heard it as fore finger and kept. Immediately he returned my passport. I have applied again and my appointment is on June 11 - 07:30 AM, Mumbai. Please give me some tips/ confidence. It is B1/B2 visa.
@@nithya5716 get the appointment on 2025. Later you reschedule 3 times. It is like tatkal reservation. You have to refresh continuously. Slots may open at any time. You have to try continuously. You may get a chance to get slot in next 2 months..

It’s not like that just before my interview I saw a guy giving his interview confidently and getting accepted, seeing that made me realize that you just need to answer the questions. Thank you. Yes, you can. There is no compulsion to select a particular interview location. The guidance just recommends you to a location nearest to you. You can not only choose any of the locations but later if you change your mind you can even reschedule your appointment.

It's okay if you choose not to include your GRE score in your application. If the university doesn't require it, then you don't have to worry about it. I am not sure if there is a locker facility because I had booked a hotel room. I have heard that policemen may keep your small items such as your phone, wallet etc. There is a small booth where they keep. If you have a bag they will ask you to keep it out since it's not allowed to be carried in the embassy. Also, some autorickshaw drivers can keep your belongings and give you a token but they charge more like 1000 to 2000.
