US volunteer soldiers appear in Ukraine frontline footage

The footage suggests the international legion fighting alongside the Ukrainian military is playing an increasingly active role. The video clips show an American in combat gear posing in front of the burnt remains of what he said was a Russian tank.

The videos were posted by James Vasquez, a US army veteran and building contractor from Connecticut, who according to his Twitter feed, arrived in Poland on 15 March, crossed into Ukraine the next day, bringing with him several surveillance drones. He was sent to the frontlines from Lviv on 18 March

All the bad netizens who support Russia's invasion of Ukraine are bringing disaster to the country and the people. They support a referendum in Keria and several States in eastern and southern Ukraine, and eventually merge into Russia. What if the United States and Europe support Taiwan's referendum? Taiwan is a province of China. Are the above-mentioned States not a province of Ukraine?? That's something a civilian will never understand. Just like the "gallows humor" used by cops, medics and firefighters (outside of public view). It's a necessary defense mechanism to cope with the chaos, death and madness all around you when you realize you don't have the luxury of just avoiding it or watching it on TV like the rest of society.

Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in Europe, it has a GDP per capita lower than Belarus. Before you say "Russia bully ukraine that's why", even then Ukraine had a lower GDP per capita than Belarus, nothing changed. Before 2014 Russia was the largest investor in Ukraine investing billions more than EU and USA. Ukraine has a lower HDI than Russia too, it is corrupt with oligarchs, Zelenskiy's main benefactor was an oligarch. What freedom and democracy is there in Ukraine when they ban 13million Russians in their country from speaking their own language? You call that freedom, seek help then.

At the end of the day I didn’t support the American war in Iraq and Afghanistan and I am not American, but it really shows what a professional military is capable of the way they handle two huge orders at the same time with far more complicated supply chains that are literally incomparable to the supply chain Russia has been unable to maintain literally on the other side of its border.

@@ManDrinkingMilk I believe the title is 'US volunteer soldiers' not 'US soldier volunteers,' there is a difference. Those guys are former soldiers who came and volunteered, they aren't active US military. There was an incident recently though where an active member of the Queens Gaurd just abandoned his post to try to go to Ukraine and fight and the UK made a big fuss about getting him back for that reason though.

The video shows damaged Ukrainian equipment. On it, despite severe damage, an anti-cumulative grille is visible in a lateral projection. On Russian technology, anti-cumulative screens and dynamic protection have a completely different design, the traditional type of grille is only above the turret of some tanks, as a way to protect against Javelin anti-tank missiles. Certainly not helping our dumb American stereotype.

@J D yeah things are going well for Russia, their starving, suffering from frostbite and being pushed back on all fronts whilst surrendering or deserting on mass. Ukraine is stronger than ever with a wave of high morale, foreign volunteers and stolen Russian equipment and Turkish drones and NATO munitions. Every building that Putin levels just angers the Ukrainians more and brings more strength to their cause. Russia's economy is on the brink of collapse and their morale is crumbling.

I am an American and I appreciate these American volunteer soldiers fighting for Ukraine. But one thing, it is Ukraine not America and I think that is the tone to take. Not sure why he is saying welcome to America, that is exactly what Putin is supposed to be fighting against and what we said we are not trying to do. Fight on and stay safe...

those are all Ukrainian tanks. the soldiers look very clean for battle hardened troops. when you destroy a tank there is no white smoke there's predominantly black smoke because of diesel. it's chemistry. that smoke comes from timber. he also is very well groomed. that's about the only thing I like about the clip

@@HooDatDonDar The Cuban dictator only existed because the USA tried to take over Cuba many times. The Greek dictatorship was set up by the USA and did horrific things to it's own people. What the USA did in Greece is exactly what Putin is trying to do now. What you don't understand is that people don't want to be "liberated by USA" most countries prefer not to have USA supported dictatorships or have all their resources stole by USA Of course I don't support Russia. Most of the countries on the list were USA and Russia trying to set up their own regimes. Both do the same thing it's just USA is better at it

Read his twitter. 2 days ago he was posting a video of a destroyed “Russian” tank, when it was actually a Ukrainian troop carrier. He also started asking for money and already collected 50,000 dollars as of today in donations. Be careful with this guy.

this guy better hope he doesnt get captured as he wont have any rights.. the Russians would legally be able to do whatever they liked to him and other "volunteers". the geneva convention doesnt cover mercs.
