Classic for Lithuania yes and I am happy for them. But these talented US youngsters don't have international experience and the team chemistry is not there yet
Congrats to Lithuania , an historic event , from Ireland . We are trying to grow the game here with good under age results recently in Europe . Lithuania inspires the smaller nations !
@@PathtoYahawahshame, other nations don't send their best team either. Jokic, Gianis, Joel imbiid, Luca, Lauri, Siakam and so many more people in NBA that don't serve their countries as well. And for a record, it's not the best Lithuania team either. That's the fruit of underestimating enemies. Sending B, C Team and when you lose you start pulling the "this is not our best team " Card once again. Come on, just admit, the basketball all over the globe is rising as well. If you keep sending C team and think you still can win, think again.
@@raymondmaturan7698 Nothing to admit, since you basically just said what I said as excuses for the other nations you named, how about proving it all by everyone sending their best period and we can see who is the best period! I am even willing to go racial as well just to show and Prove once and for all.!
@@raymondmaturan7698 now we going to see which Nations is better now that the best of the best are coming to the world. Now it's up to you other Nations to bring your best period so we all can see who is best. I predict Blowouts every game next time the Nations come together! What say you?
man its so hard to put that USA team away. You go nuclear from three, get every bounce and only end up winning by 6. Hopefully we see these two teams match up again because its always fun
The first half was a bit hard to watch as a fan of the NBA players on that team. However, I can't deny that Lithuania were executing their plays perfectly and really outrebounded them for most of the game.
Going in his chest. Targeting that boy 😭😂 this ain’t the NBA, that WC physicality ain’t no joke. Country pride on the line too 😮💨 Love these competitions!
Lol being outraged about Noah Lyles’ comment and getting humbled by « unknown » international players has got to be the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while
@@promo-js8me not the rest of the world's problem if the US doesn't wanna send its best so it has the best chance of winning...the NBA champion is not the world champion you silly goose, get over it
Good fight from both teams. Lithuana setting the tempo early with a dominating performance in the first quarter and the first half really made USA have to fight in the second half. USA just came up short. ggs.
@@rimantasgudalas9642 yeah, there are reasons why in the nba. Nobody beats usa in a series, even best of 3. You beat them once in a while but not every while.
@@rimantasgudalas9642Two days is more than long enough. They adjusted their playstyle well in less than a quarter this game. And usually losses help refocus teams.
The National Basketball Association (NBA) today announced that 120 international players from 40 countries and six continents are on opening-night rosters for the 2022-23 season, including a record number of players from Canada (22) and Australia (10) and a record-tying five players from Nigeria.
Americans just found out that Lithuanians can shoot 3s. We are familiar with their basketball school (Rimas Kurtinaitis, Valdemaras Chomičius, Sergejus Jovaiša, Šarūnas Marčiulionis).
@@Ch0senJuanLol. still can't change the fact that they go HOME. By the way, best to offer? Dude, your best players aren't even interested in representing the USA Team. Not until the US cries about it and demands NBA stars to take it seriously 😂.
Exactly!❤️ As a lithuanian I always support Croatia in football, just love how they are defeating “big” countries. So we are not that small after all haha!😅❤️😊
very proud of our team, demolishing usa is not common, they're always the top dogs, I think we were phenomenal this year as well as usa was, but i think we have to give the biggest shout out to our LATVIAN brothers for showing the biggest passion in the sport and accomplishint the unbelievable, hats down to them
Hat off to Litha, I always say... once a team is hot from the start and you don't know how to slow that team down and there's nothing you can do, just take the lost and come back another day.
US is already undersized. When Lithuania took the huge 20+ lead from hot shooting, I knew it was over then too. If you’re rooting on team USA to win gold, I feel they’re fortunate it happened now. Not that Lithuania couldn’t win again, but they’ll have to have some new tricks because USA will be ready for this next time.
This game is better than a regular NBA game. The intensity felt like the 90s playoffs. This is the basketball game I love. Great offense and excellent defense. Players fighting through screens, no flops, no dramas, active hands, and great shot contests. I love this game!
i agree and one last important issue. Foul calls, and the lack of lousy calls by refs. in this World Cup. I am sick of the reffing in the NBA along with that fact that too many players complain directly to the refs. ThAT MUST STOP
Great shooting of Lithuanians with some great shots made. Reaves was targeted by Lithuanians but he was not defending well especially to those cutters. Antwan was amazing.
LIthuania played great basketball, but man they also had some incredible luck with those 50/50 balls. Hopefully this is a wake up call to the US to play with greater intensity through the whole game and not just desperation time
Bro they were shooting every single game many tree pointers. Actually they were the best 3 pointer team in the tournament. And u call it luck 😀 and this was already their 3 win in main tournaments versus USA. Again luck? Noone else beat so many times team USA. Lol
idk felt like Kuz , Iggy and Rokas wanted to say to the Knicks and whole NBA crew - "I'm good at Europe and I like basketball here, keep your basketball show league for the clowns"
