This video is about 150 Key Rare Postage Stamps of United States of America. USA has an amazing postal history. Alexander M. Greig’s City Dispatch Post, a private New York City carrier, issued the first adhesive postage stamps in USA on February 1, 1842.
The first American stamps were cut from non-perforated sheets with scissors. One stamp, initially priced at five cents, pictured Benjamin Franklin. The other, a ten-cent stamp, depicted George Washington. In 1856, a five-cent stamp honoring Thomas Jefferson was introduced. This was followed by a two-cent stamp featuring Andrew Jackson in 1863. However, George Washington still holds the record for appearing on more U.S. postage stamps than any other person. Stamp collecting is very informative hobby and rare classic USA stamps are highly appreciated by every serious collector.
In this video I have selected 150 beautiful US philatelic pieces. Values shown are only for that particular stamp present along with the text in this video.
