this is the beginning of the end for US women’s soccer.. The world caught up.. got way better, better leagues… spain, england , switzerland will destroy them if they can’t even score 1 easy goal against one of the WORST possible teams ever.. what a shame.. get rid of the old players.. those years ago are long GONE.. USA women soccer is DONE.. they won’t recover .. ever.. they world is progressing are we are stuck for life… thats the mentality

Rodman is so athletic, but I think it will be easy for sophisticated opponents to get in her head and she will get some yellow or even red cards in the Olympics.

Despite the lack of goals for the USWNT, their general play was superb. Costa Rica had luck on their side to not concede a goal. Moreover, they "parked the bus" for a greater period of the game firing just about 2 shots at the US goal. Interesting how the naysayers are writing off the USWNT claiming that teams like Spain will overrun them. Spain just lost 2-1 to Czechia Women in the Euro 2025 qualifiers. Relax and wait for the Olympics to start and watch. Go USA!

I liked the intensity and dynamic of the team. The ladies did not convert, but it will come. The game is great. The only thing, Horan and some other ladies, when close to the gate are shooting in hurry. Yes, you have an opportunity, you shoot. But!! The next level of the player is when the player knows what she will do with the ball, when or if she gets it. Quick look for your teammates is important before trying to score or whatever. A couple of times Horan was hitting the ball with her head, when it was not effective, but her teammates were close by uncovered in a better position. But I really liked the dynamic of the game!!! Very good, ladies!!!

Emma Hayes has to light a fire to get the forwards to finish. Also, she has to change the line up; the team could not finish in the final third. Good build up just could not finish. A pathetic performance. Hats of the CRC. I don't think they crossed the midline but they shut out the US. OLYMPICS is in 11 days and no way will the USWNT advance if they play like how they did tonite. Tonight's performance was a total embarrassment in front of a HOME CROWD.

If they can’t score against CRC, how are they going to score against Germany, Australia and Zambia? Lindsey has lost her scoring touch. She has not been able to finish in the past several years. This game was her worst. Plenty of opportunities but failed to put a decent shot on the net. No sense of urgency, except in second half stoppage time. Poor performance all around, against both Mexico and CRC. I’m not confident they’ll make it out of the group stage in the Olympics. All three opponents are high scoring teams. The U.S. just isn’t.
