How many shots are we going to miss? We will eventually play some super great teams where not finishing will cost us. Other than that, another good win.
That's happening with the current roster too: lots and lots of shots on goal and very few making it to the back of the net. I wouldn't be surprised if England beats them.
@@williamvn2928 I'm a huge fan. Putting that aside, this year's team is dramatically different than the team that won the 2019 world cup and, if you've been watching this current team play (and that absolutely awful 2-1 win over *NIGERIA* for heaven's sake), you'll see they've not converting plays in the upper third into goals. They're just not. No Lloyd, no Press, no Heath, no Ertz. Also, no Williams, Sam Mewis and only just returning Dunn. The only dramatic improvement I see is finally giving other goal keepers more time on the pitch. What I'm saying is, their upcoming match against England might be a huge upset, considering how badly they failed to clobber Nigeria. Heads up, yo. Heads up ....
@@Bamboo4U2 Yes. Though losing to England is not going to be a huge upset. England is just very much improved. But getting back to your point, a lot of this has to do with how the coach is platooning the team. There is no chemistry because there is no set team. You simply have to play together, there needs to be a set 11 that starts, or nearly so. This A team B team stuff cost them the Olympics. Hopefully, our coach rectifies this in the very near future. Julie Foudy shares this view.
@@rg1809 yeah, I agree. Andonovski needs to stop tinkering under the hood, name the starting eleven and get those players to solidify their attacks and defense. And if that means sidelining some of these newer players, so be it. Practice time is over. 2-1against Nigeria, for heaven's sake.
@@Tony-Plinkett The Dallas FC Academy , one of the best Academies in Texas, if not the Usa. That academy? The one with 6 foot tall 14 year olds? That Academy? I've never seen a friendly game that's 4-0 with 6 minutes to go and the team in the lead scores two more. Were they running up the score? Seemed a bit unfriendly.
Just to let you all know, the USA could have 3 or 4 teams and go 1,2,3,4 in a world cup, there is that much talent, there is no reason why some of these players should be on the roster other than politics, Megan Rapino give me a break, an average d3 college player could run the game better. She does not deserve to be on the team other than her politics,
You obviously haven't been watching her recent NWSL games--or some of the recent USWNT games, for that matter. So do ME a break and get your own politics out of here.
@@lewisbrazil5485 Again, dude, you're not listening. YOU brought up politics 1st, not I. And YOU obviously haven't been paying any attention to recent NWSL games, now that Rapinoe is recovered enough from her injury to play full games (Do you watch the NWSL at all? I very much doubt it). Yes, she doesn't have the speed she once had--but speed was never her trademark. Being creative on the ball is. I thought she might be done, too, after the Olympics and her injury, but recent games have proven she's not done yet.

@Richard/ Dick, the fact is I said a boys high school team. I didn’t name anybody. Clearly you had some other names in mind and this is obviously a sore spot for you. My condolences.
You think the USMNT could do better?? @Richard must be correct that they play for other countries after graduation. They certainly aren't lining up to play wit the US men's team.
@@Nope145 Jimmy , you can read , my user name is Richard . As far as i know, the us womens team has only played one boys team , the dallas fc academy , 5 years ago , and ever since then , the trolls keep bringing it up , ignoring the facts i put in my previous post. If you know of any other boys team that the usa womens team has played, i'd be most interested to know who. so saying I didn’t name anybody is just being obtuse. ... Clearly you had some other names in mind....... clearly i didnt . I was clear in my post. your mind might be cloudy, mine isnt. and this is obviously a sore spot for you , my only " sore spot " as you put it, is people ignoring facts. all i would like from you , is the facts. you can keep your condolences for those who need them. and trying to sound clever, or superior , just makes you look stupid.
