U.S. defenders caught ball watching too often. Defenders have to know where the opposing team's players are when that team makes a run. This is really basic; something we were taught in high school ages ago. That awareness would have prevented the second goal.
This must be one of the most frustrating video replays I've seen. It's obvious that the publisher knows nothing about football and applies some weird "must replay everything 3 times" and make it look like it's American football. Very strange
Plus USA should have had that goal that was waived off, it was a legit goal, the one that bounced inside the goal line and never actually hit the net..
#11 for usa wasted every chance she had at goal and she must have had 20... US defense not used to being seriously challenged and Germany took the USA to school on passing in the box.
Why are women goalies in this league always plopping forward on their knees and then their elbows - splat!- whenever they catch the ball? Are they being taught to do this? Just stay on your friggin feet FCOL
